Dear Revdex.com Representative,This is the manager of JK Nails. We would first like to address the complainant's case from the beginning. First, the customer came into our shop wanting a gel pedicure and a full set. One of our nail technicians sat the customer down and started doing her foot. At the start,...

our nail technician noticed that one of the customer's big toe was broken and she asked if the customer wanted a cut down. She replied that she wanted it cut, however she also wanted her toes to be long as if they had not been cut. Our nail technician suggested that the only way to keep the nail long was so get an acrylic overlay onto the big toe which would be an additional $5 onto the pedicure. The customer agrees and the nail technician finished the pedicure. Afterwards, the customer was moved to the full set table where one of the managers worked on her full set. The customer asked for the price, and she was notified that it would be $23 full set and $10 for gel polish. She then asked for the pedicure price and was notified that it would be $43 ($23 pedicure, gel for toes $15, and acrylic overlay for 1 toe was $5): A total of $66. Then, the customer said that she wanted to cut her big toes down some more. The nail technician said that she will fix it after she is done with her nails. However, the customer pushed for her toes to be fixed straight away. When told that the nail technician can only fix her toes after finishing her nails, the customer stands up and tells everyone that she wants to leave right away and she does not want to pay. The nail technician told the customer that she must pay for the services we have already finish providing to her, otherwise we will call the police. However, the customer continues to head for the front door. In that moment, another customer called the police. Several minutes later, the police arrived. The customer who called the police spoke to the police herself about the events that transpired. The complainant continue to engage in an argument with the customer who called the police. The police investigated the problem and informed the complainant that if she does not like the service, she should not come back but she have to also pay for what's already done. The complainant complied.Secondly, as to how we have addressed the issue in order to resolve this conflict, we did not charge the complainant the $66 she owe because we wanted to make a compromise and instead charged her only for pedicure and gel polish ($38). We had hoped that the discount we gave her was enough to settle the matter. Also, addressing the complainant's accusation that we cut her foot, she did make a complain at the time. However, the manager had requested her to show where on her foot the cut was done, she was unable to find the alleged cut.In addition, the complainant mentions that she believed the nail technician did not have a licence however we have it hung upon our wall. If you would like to check, the nail technician's licence number is [redacted], valid through September 30, 2019.We hope that this reply shed some light upon this complaint. Thank you
