I made my personal assumption from Mr.Aldridge's actions thru out the course of this transaction.During phone conversations between the realtors that I was part of in trying to find out the repairs Mr*** wanted, his replies in the background would lead you to question his mental abilities, that is my personal thoughts.Mr.Aldridge had a home inspection, the requested repairs were completed and accepted this is apparent as Mr*** closed on the houseThe areas Mr*** is complaining about appear to be in areas of high moisture, the bath and the laudry ,this is not uncommon in these areas I would recommend using the bath fan longer to see if this helps. This is not a new home and there is no warranty Mr*** is aware of this yet he continues with this, I am sure I am not the only one with questions.Hope this helps

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
This is another example of the unprofessionalism displayed by MrYoungHe assumed that an individual was not mentally capable of completing a transaction yet didn't bring it up at any point during the negotiations? This is nothing more than a poor and classless attempt to attack my credibilityI also find it interesting that my mental abilities are being questioned by MrYoung, yet I've been fully capable of filing an official complaint against him and providing multiple coherent responses
The reasons MrYoung has provided for why issues are occurring in the house continue to make no senseHe recommends using a fan to prevent the walls from cracking? This is impossible in the laundry room, which was the first room where cracks started occurring - and this happened before we even purchased or hooked up appliances, so it can't be blamed on moisture being created by a washing machine or dryerActually, the laundry room began leaking this past weekend, indicating an issue with the roof instead of MrYoung's notion of these simply being "areas of high moisture."
Does this also mean that we should keep the fans running at all times to prevent cracking in the bathrooms? I've never heard of a house where people were required to run fans in order to keep the walls from falling apart
Multiple contractors have come to look at the house and problems and they believe no bonding agent was used before the walls were plastered, which is part of why we're now having so many issuesIs this the case?
In MrYoung's previous message, he states, "I am sure I am not the only one with questions." Yet, he didn't ask a single question in his entire messageI'm curious to know what questions he has? Would he like to continue to question my mental capacity or does he actually have relevant questions regarding this house?

In regard to your letter on 2/5/14, JKR Holdings simply sold the house to Mr. [redacted]. At no time was any warranty implied or given. Mr. [redacted] had a home inspection and all repairs requested were completed. If needed, we can supply the document where the repairs were accepted. Shortly...

after the closing, Mr. [redacted] began a social media attack on the realtor involved which made no sense seeing how any mistakes made was on Mr. [redacted]'s and his realtor trying to close on this house. I did receive a letter from Mr. [redacted] but his complaints are not out of the ordinary. it appears to be caused by the owner not using exhaust went in the bathroom and in the laundry areas on the home inspection, a dryer vent was not installed. Mr. [redacted] was aware of that and this was a declined item. All through the purchase process Mr. [redacted] would go from one extreme to the other that didn't pertain to the negotiations. It was my understanding that Mrs. [redacted] was handling all negotiations and that Mr. [redacted] was not of a mental capacity to handle this. Please, if you need more information, let me know.

This isn't something that was communicated at any point by myself or my wife, and I seriously doubt our realtor made such comments. If the business is going to be questioning my "mental capacity," I would appreciate knowing the justification for such a statement.

I received your letter today and this has left me very confused. First, we have had no contact via phone, email or otherwise since the completion of the job. I have also checked with the realtor involved and she alsohas heard nothing from the [redacted] in regard. This job did go over the estimated...

completion date due to a bath room vanity that Mr. [redacted] had approvedand Mrs. [redacted] refused.  The additional [redacted]e was for her to go pick out a vanity that she deemed acceptable, have it ordered and installed.Secondly, The [redacted] then signed a letter of completion for the lender after everything was completed.  Im very surprised to see this complaint. I don't see were this complaint has any merit what so ever.Respectfully. [redacted]

Review: As a first [redacted]e home buyer, I purchased a foreclosure. Part of the contract required that I had to have some work done on the home. My realtor, recommended, her "friend" [redacted] to do the work. Not knowing anyone else in the area, I signed a contract with him. He took 90 days longer than the contract stated, left some work incomplete, bought me damaged appliances, and as of today, almost 1 year later, I am having to replace outlets HE installed, because of faulty wiring, that may have damage my new washer. Neither he nor he realtor would return calls, emails, or visits.Desired Settlement: At this point, I just want others to be aware of the lack of work he will do. I would like my jobs completed and/or fixed, but with all the trouble I have had so far, I doubt that is possible.

Review: My wife and I purchased a remodeled house from JKR Holdings in December 2013 and began experiencing major problems after living there for less than a month. There are major cracks in the walls in multiple rooms in the house, including in the master bathroom where the plaster on the ceiling above the shower is coming down. The cracks are continuing to expand and will require significant repair work to get back in good shape.I've tried contacting this company on multiple occasions through a certified letter and phone messages and have not received any response.Desired Settlement: Considering the quality of the work that has already been done, my wife and I are not comfortable with him completing any of the repairs because we don't have any confidence that the work would be any more acceptable. The Virginia State Board of Contractors should investigate JKR Holdings to ensure they meet required quality standards.
