Revdex.com Corporate Office [redacted] Dear [redacted] The purpose of this letter is to respond to the complaint submitted to you recentlyThe complaint identification number is [redacted] The complainant is a lady who submitted a rental application for the property in question, along with a separate application submitted by her husbandThe applications identified a family of five, two adults and children, and also identified a service dog that would be on the premisesThe applicants submitted a security deposit of $1225, first month's rent of $and two application fees of $each, totaling $I am enclosing with this letter a copy of the 3rd page of their 4-page applicationThe complainant indicated that there were multiple applications on the home, which was trueWe ultimately accepted separate applications for this very desirable rental propertyThe complainant indicated that no one told her that there were multiple applications on the property and that if she had known that she would not have submitted the applicationOf the eleven applications that were submitted, the complainant's applications were among the earliestThe agent who showed the property had no way of knowing if other applications had been submitted prior to his showing the propertyThis is often the case when multiple applications are submitted in a rental market that is very strongNeither the agent nor anyone else from this brokerage purposely misled or deceived the applicantsThe complainant indicated that she was not provided with the rental criteria for this propertyPage of her application, in bold print which is also underlined, spells out the tenant selection criteria that we use in evaluating all our applicationsThis information is available upon requestApparently the complainant never requested the information, even though she signed the form lines below where this acknowledgment appears on the formThe complainant alleges that we discriminated against her family because of their race and their medical situationWe did not discriminate in any way against these applicantsThe rejection of their application was based on the same objective criteria that we apply to all of our rental property applicantsThe applications submitted by these complainants were rejected because of their relatively low credit scores compared to the other applications that we receivedThe owner of this rental property approved the applications of two people, both of whom had credit scores almost points higher than the complainant.The complainants submitted a total of $with their applicationsAfter the complainants were notified that the owners had approved another application, we refunded to the complainant a total of $2450.00, which they picked up in personThe difference of $is the non-refundable application feeOn the application, under the paragraph entitled "Fees" the complainant left the spaces blankThe application readily identifies the fee as non-refundable.We appreciate the opportunity to address these issues and trust that this satisfies the complainant's concerns.Sincerely, [redacted] Senior Property Manag
