The shed we had built was not done to our agreement. It was done in an untimely and unsatisfactory manner. The job is not finished.We signed a contract to have this shed built on July 2nd, and it is still not completed to our agreement, although the owner/builder says it is done. The work was not done in a timely manner as a shed that was supposed to take 3 days to build has taken over 1 month. Substandard materials were used and raw wood has been left exposed where it was supposed to be covered with vinyl trim. A slanted ramp was to be constructed, however it is not functional as it doesn't lay flush with the ground. Used double doors were installed on the shed and all new materials were to be used. This 12 x 20 shed cost us $6,400 and we expect it to be built according to our agreement. The builder took photos of our neighbor's shed and said he would replicate it, however he did not. We want him to complete this work according to our agreement.Desired SettlementWe want the builder to come out and finish putting vinyl trim on the exposed wood at the bottom of the shed. We also want two brand new doors installed on the shed per the agreement. We also want a workmanlike condition ramp built and not a cheap version that was put there to try to finish the job.
