Review: We hired this company to cut our grass in May of this year. When we hired the company we agreed upon cutting our lawn. When our first bill was sent, we were asked to sign a contract. I submitted payment and wrote a note saying we never received a contract. One was never forwarded and we never received a call. In September the grass stopped growing. We called the owner, [redacted] on 10/05/13 and left a message requesting them to discontinue the lawn service. We never received a call back and it did not seem any services were being done. However, to our surprise, in November the company must have shown up as edging was done. Myself as well as my husband called the owner again. We tried his cell phone as well as the company phone. The company phone was forwarded directly to the owners cell phone. We both left messages indicating that we did not understand what we were being charged for as the grass has not grown and we removed the leaves ourselves. I indicated on the message that I had ten bags of leaves in my yard. Neither of us has yet to receive a return call. Today, 12/21/13, we received another bill from the company with an outstanding balance for the month of October, as well as charges for the lawn and leaves in November and December. The bill now totals $255.73. I called the owner again today and left another message. I need assistance as the company will not contact us. We hired them to cut over lawn over the summer. We never agreed to any leaf removal. We were also told that when the grass did not grow they would no longer cut it.Desired Settlement: I would like the company to stop sending me bills. I do not feel it is fair to bill me for services that we never agreed to and that I do not believe they ever completed. I need assistance in resolving this matter and negating the charges they are saying exist.
