Attached are the pictures you requestedAs you can see from the pictures, they spun the tool so hard on the rims that it removed the clear coat and paint in many placesI did not send a picture of every lug nut hole that was damaged, almost all of them areIn *** *** response he does not deny he damaged my rims, he just states that holes where tapered and he used standard tools in the industryIf he did not have the experience and the correct tools to change my tires without damaging them he should have told me that and I would have gone to another *** dealerThese rims cost almost $a piece new and when the work was done my car only had 3,miles on it.
The reason I have not brought my car back to *** to have them look at the damage is that *** told me on the phone that me coming up there would not change anything.

The response from J.LTire is a joke....I did not leave happy*** was not there, I talked to another manager and I told her I was not happy and that I needed the tires so I could use my carThere is no way she thought I was happy, I was a little upset with the poor repair done to my wheeels, I'm sure it showed. I am a very unhappy customer

*** I have read *** ***’s response and if you review my prior e-mails I stated that I wanted to bring my car to J.LTire for *** to inspect the rims, however, *** told me that he would not change his mind after inspecting themI’m sure *** can see the damage done to my rims from the pictures I sent you last monthI will take my car to J.LTire this Friday 3/14, to have *** inspect the damage
As for the questions you asked in your recent e-mail:
Has the company addressed the issues of this dispute? No, They have made no attempt to settle this claim
If not, why? They have not contacted me and have not offered a resolution as of today, 3/11/
Has the company met the agreement they outlined in their response? They have not offered to do anythingThe last time I talked to *** he told me he would not do anything

I received the letter today from *** *** We will not be doing anything further for Mr***
Mr*** made NO mention of not being able to get lug nuts of in the emails we exchanged We only use torque sticks, so their is no way to over tighten

I did speak to Mr. [redacted] on January 22, and asked Mr. [redacted] to bring his vehicle in. As of February 7, Mr. [redacted] has not brought his car in.
small; font-family: arial;">When I spoke to Mr. [redacted] on the phone I did explain that the lug nut holes were very tapered. He stated that he puts tape around them when he removes the lug nuts. That is not something our repair shop is going to do. We do use standard tools in the industry and take normal precautions to prevent damage.

Tire agreed to fix my rims, I dropped them off Wednesday and picked them up yesterday. I was shocked when I saw the work done, whoever tried to fix the rims did a really poor job. The rims look horrible. I took the rims home because I could not go without my car for another day. I only arranged for my car to be out of commission for two days. The only way to fix them correctly is to have them re-powder coated which they did not do. At this point, I’m really only looking for a check for $500 so I can have the rims powder coated. As I have stated before these are not cheap rims, they cost a little over $300 each.
By the way when I tried to take off my rims I could not get them off using my air gun. I had to use a two foot breaker bar. When you over tighten rims like this you can warp the rotors. Wheels should only be tightened to manufactures torque specs. I know J.L. Tires knows this, but they must not care. I’ve had toque sticks which don’t let you over tighten the lugs, I can’t believe J.L. Tire does not have something similar.
