Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] Please add your rejection comments below I will not go back and forth with this issue any longerMy pictures and the testimonies of other companies say it allHe destroyed the driveway and we are still looking for the return of the $I do not want this person anywhere near my property or driving on my new drivewayThe street will eventually fade or the city can deal with himA check can be mailed to me as previously offeredIf not, we will take the matter to small claims court Regards, [redacted]

To whom it may concern, The following will be my itemized response to the complainants rebuttal1) When I arrived and was told what they were looking for I explained that sealcoating would not get rid of the bumps in the driveway, they asked what I would suggestI told them that they would need a new driveway if they wanted it to be perfect, Collen then said that she did not want to invest that much moneyI told her that I could get it patched but it would not be perfect. 2) They never asked if I had all the equipment I would need as a matter of fact I told them that I would need access to electricity and water, at which time they showed me an outside outlet and a water spout(I can only assume she means a generator and not a compressor) 3) What I actually said was that it would not be the same height as the driveway or the cities patch and I emphasized several times that it would not be even. 4) As far as anyone trying to get the job it would not be worth their efforts to do anything unless they are making at least $ 2,000.00, I used asphalt from Narragansett asphalt on Allens Avenue in Providence RI so saying improper materials being used would just be the contractors way of justifying their charges. 5) I went by on 10/24/16, I drove onto the driveway and it did not sink and was hardened, and I could not detect any odors. 6) It was my intention of having the street power washed until I realized that they were not payingas far as cleaning all the old asphalt was removed and the area was cleaned except for the area that was going to be power washed. 7) I cannot answer about the hose however can show in my attached picture that there is no sealcoating on the flagstones. 8) In regards to the receipt her boyfriend was in a rush to get to work and I arrived without my receipt book, he demanded a receipt and I wrote him out one so that he could be on his wayI had arranged for them to receive an honest $ job which is proven by the fact that all the other contractors are asking for $ 2,to do less that what I had arranged for them. 9) If she is an honorable person as she claims she should realize that they received actually more than they were charged for, due to the two layers of asphalt that was removed which was an added expense. 10) My desired outcome would be that they give me the $ they owe, and the craigslist post removedAt which time I will happily have the street power washed. I sincerely look forward to your decision.Thank you,

To whom it may concern, I am responding to the above mentioned complaint. I was first contacted by [redacted] in late April or early May. She asked me to go by her property and give her a quote. I was under the impression that this was for a seal coating job. When I arrived her boyfriend [redacted] was...

there to meet me. I was then informed that they wanted the roots from a tree on the street removed and that they were having problems with the city. I spoke to her later in the day at which time she made me feel that she was getting shafted by the city. I told her that I would cut out the roots patch the hole and seal the driveway. I also explained that it would not be level with the existing driveway but would be one color. She okayed it and stated that I should only deal with her and that she would call me in a week. I received a phone call from her at the end of August stating that the city had removed the tree and they would like for me to patch and sealcoat the driveway. I was already scheduled to go on vacation with my family, so I told her I would call when I got back. On September 20, 2016 I revisited the site and spoke to [redacted] and her boyfriend [redacted]. I explained what was going to be done and emphasized once more how this would not be level but would be one color. I showed up on September 22, 2016 and my friend started working on the area of the driveway that needed to be patched. At this time he showed me that there were two driveways layered one on top of the other and upon further inspection that there were no roots causing the bumpy driveway which I can only surmise that it was installed incorrectly. Since I had committed to getting the job done for her, he continued with the work under my supervision. At the end of day two I approached Collen to receive final payment. At this time she stated that I needed to talk to her boyfriend, I explained how I had always told her that it would not be level but it would be one color at this time she agreed that I had kept my commitment but needed to talk to her boyfriend [redacted] when he got out of work because he was going to pay the balance of $200.00 owed for the work completed. I had a feeling then that they were not going to pay me. So I contacted her boyfriend who complained about the work that was done. We had a lengthy discussion. He was extremely rude. He wanted me to purchase more materials and machinery at my own expense and wanted a $ 2,000.00 job for $400.00 which Add to dictionary is not equipped for as we are a sealcoating and power washing company, not an paving company. It was at this time that I told him that I would take the $200.00 loss. Either [redacted] or her boyfriend put a derogatory post on craigslist on October 7, 2016.I have not received any job offers since this derogatory posting was placed. If the Revdex.com feels that I should refund the deposit, I will accept their decision but request that the post be taken down prior to the refund.Thank you,

I will not go back and forth with this issue any longer. My pictures and the testimonies of other companies say it all. He destroyed the driveway and we are still looking for the return of the $200. I do not want this person anywhere near my property or driving on my new driveway. The street will eventually fade or the city can deal with him. A check can be mailed to me as previously offered. If not, we will take the matter to small claims court.
