Worst hire ever!!! *** and left the work unfinished!! ***! He used every excuse under the planet, from his car breaking down, to his mom being sick, then it was his dad and 6 month later he now broke his arm!!
She still own me $1700.00.
I wasn't very *** when I went on hours to pick up her tile from the store ( never got paid for it )
After I priced material for the job and she paid material she hired a designer that changed all material from baseboard to casing and I still accommodate her needs . Did a lot of extra work and never got paid for it.
So she still own me $1700 plus extras ( add more work for same money )
My father passed away 1 month ago and I broke 2 finger 3 weeks ago. So I couldn't go finish a round window . And she complains like she paid me and I didn't do the job. Window is not done but she own me $1700.00 plus extras
Yes he's right, thanks god I haven't paid him yet. He still has to finish the window a wall unit and several other items . As per all the other comments, I feel sorry about his loss, however this project should not take 8 month and I should not be chasing anyone. Also, I have been charged the difference of material changes.
I have plenty of pictures and texts to proof.
The only item to b done at the house it's 1 window . That ( $1700 + extras ) that she own . For sure she wants me to do more free extra staff like we did got the time we work at the house ( pick up tiles , remove carpet , extra shoe-moulding , etc etc. )
They want everything for cheap . They only know how to ask for favours but when comes time to pay they wanna pay you the way the like ur when they want 2.

I have a lot of text messages to prove the things she will ask for. She paid the casing diference and the rest . It's good when she ask for deal. Always in a budget but was in a budget when she hire a designer to change what we agree on .
I have the estimate to post ur forward in is no wall unit on the quote I gave her. For sure she would like one for free.
You are digging a deeper hole for yourself .
