Don't not trust this individual to do good work or be honest.
JLS Painting just finished painting my deck and it looks amazing. Jim charges a fair price for quality work. Jim sprayed the deck floor himself with a very expensive piece of equipment. It was obvious that this was not his first rodeo. Very experienced. The railings were painted by Anthony who did a great job. They did touch ups and put the deck back together. Everyone that worked on it were great. Jim came by to do a final inspection. *** . Will not hesitate to hire JLS Painting again.
JLS Painting just finished redoing our kitchen and powder room and we couldn't be happier! We got new countertops, backslpash, flooring, complete paint job including removing all cupboard doors and spraying them in their shop, pot lights and other fixtures. All the work was excellent - my wife wanted a herring-bone pattern for the backsplash, which is a lot harder to do than the normal horizontal style, and it was done perfectly by Bill, and it was all completed in a timely fashion. The price was fair and reasonable and they even made several small repairs that we forgot to mention at no extra charge! I see they've had some bad reviews but they did some work for our neighbour and she recommended them and as I said we have no complaints about them and are very happy with their work and will be using them again.
Hired them to install shower and tile a floor. Resulted in messy grout lines, some grout missing and grout is not all the same colour. Chipped tlies, awful caulking on shower door, Shower door is not straight so does not open all the way.
Thresehold is angled out so shower leaks.
THere was no hot water when first went to use it as well as it would not drain. Had to be snaked and thank goodness for handy husband.
Hole left in closet wall.

We were asked only to install a stand up shower remove a bulk head add a light the floor was a week after extra because they like the job they informed the lead hand and I quote this is better than I thought as for a hole 1 inch wide they told us to ignore they would do because it was still under construction
These comments only happened because there was a balance outstanding for 60 days I never called ***

After they did a decent job painting our basement we hired them to do our carpet. Jim *** told me his friend worked at a carpet store and installed them all the time so we agreed. The one day job ended up taking over a month, the work was terrible which is probably because the carpet installer does driveways for a living and only does carpets part time. The police were almost involved because the installer was harassing us due to non payment from the owner. After literally begging the owner to stand by his work someone who knew what they were doing came and fixed it.
Wow haven't heard from this customer in over a year
They were happy about painting as for JLS we don't do carpet we sub it out
U didn't beg me to fix I had someone else who has done great work for me and u were also happy with as for the first guy we sub out to has never been back ur job was complete and perfect

It's rather difficult to understand what you're saying when it's one giant sentence, but just to clarify a few points:
1- Being happy that the job is done and I don't have to wait on you anymore is different then actually being happy with the work.
2- You told me to contact the police if the carpet guy tried to come on my property. He harassed us which we later found out is because you didn't pay him. My husband took the day off work to make sure there wasn't an issue as I was scared in my own home.
3- I never stated that you do carpet; I stated that you *** to me about the guy you hired. And as we later found out, about the quality of the carpet too.
U hired me to do another job because u liked our company
2 because we did a great job *** 2 anyways as I stated last time ty for the biss enjoy

I recently had painting done to my home. The work was sloppy and not completed. The owners were late for mudding with no apologies and screamed and yelled at me when I was upset he was a no show on a time agreed. ***. Job not finished left my home with drywall dust everywhere and did not complete painting job. Also had them at the same time doing roofing and my yard was covered with garbage, cigarette butts and nails. Sloppy workmanship. ***!
Like all renovations hours after a job is done dust settles this customer was just knows I was away on honeymoon knowing payment in full thought she would take advantage of my personal life he said she said no one else home making false accusations with no proof ***

And they had very little money winning from the start to finish to save a dollar there house needs about $3000 worth of drywall repair
I was asked to paint $1800 I did my job and then she complained about all the repairs so I came back fixed her walls for FREE and repainted
There was 3 employees all together they wiped swepted and vacuumed dust settles
As for timing I can list to every customer hundreds of happy customers which will all say I'm pleasant my crew is pleasant and always on time
There is no way of pleasing everyone but we always go over and above
When you pay a "professional" painter you expect no matter the "deal" it to be done properly As mentioned the company quoted me $1800 said it was a good deal at no point was it asked for them to lower any further. Company took a 3-4 day job and crammed it into 2. When the owner came back to see the problems (second cut in not done, can see previous paint through the new paint, nail pops and wall defects) all were to be corrected .Repairs were entered into the work order so they were to be included but were not done.he clean up the first time was great and no dust anywhere the second time after the owner was *** and *** did they come back to do a completely unprofessional fix and clean up which took the owner 3 hours to clean. The crew minus the owner were pleasant and the owner was forceful for payment and would not stop texting and *** for payment while on his honeymoon. ***.
We can go back and forth all day he said she said
But the truth is manipulation she is trying to take advantage of me
because she wasn't happy with the cleaning
bottom line she is now putting two stories together if she wasn't happy why did she hire us afterwards to do her roof that was subcontracted out so when that was done as agreed on work order payment upon completion I was away waiting to transfer payment to the fine people working on there roof in minus 25 degrees and 2 feet of snow once again her issues were nails they tried to find in 2 feet of snow
This is exhausting

Remember this I told you $3000 u could not afford it u asked us to do the best we could for $1800
regardless of price I agreed so we went over and above and still the issue was u had to dust
We don't pick up tvand cat litter boxes and sweep under them with alllllll the damage u had that we fixed for free u have to expect some dust and trust me all other people getting work done in there homes r well aware that there will be dust 100% unavoidable sorry but u are no different good bye
I wouldn't let this company build a bird house after this experience. Bottom line my walls are a mess and was not worth the hassle. People with families regardless of their profession are on a budget so including that someone is a police officer is irrelanvent. Hopefully this review goes to show you the companies morals and values. This job was finished in December not Months ago. The roofing nails were found when there was zero snow as well hence why we were able to find them and cigarette butts so easily on our lawn. Thank you
