The sectional the [redacted]'s purchased was on our floor, brand new, had no damage and the the mechanisms worked properly.  They insisted taking the sectional with them the day of the purchases to avoid paying a $35.00 delivery fee.  We encourage all our customers to let us deliver to ensure...

all merchandise is delivered without damage and can be inspected in the home by the customer before we leave.  Once we load the merchandise for the customer in their vehicle we are not responsible for any damage that occurs in transit or when they carry the merchandise into their home. The pictures that were sent to us by the [redacted]'s (see attachments) show damage of a rubbing nature (doorways, etc.). We contacted the [redacted]'s regarding their issue and they did admit that there was a table behind the sectional that it rubbed against when in the reclining position.  We firmly believe the damage to the sectional was caused by the customer and it is not a manufacture defect. The sectional is damage beyond reasonable repair and can not be resold. We are sorry that this happened but as stated previously we encourage all our customers to let us deliver the merchandise since we have the proper means and the know how to move furniture through doorways. Thank You, J.M. 03/27/2017We delivered [redacted]'s sectional November 16, 2016. At that time they signed off on our delivery verification form that the merchandise was in good working condition. Shortly after delivery they called saying the mechanism in the loveseat was not working properly. We sent a tech out who...

replaced both mechanisms. The [redacted]'s were satisfied.About a week later they called saying they were still having issues with the loveseat. We sent a tech out. Again the [redacted]'s were satisfied when the tech left. A few days passed then they called saying the issue still was not resolved. We told them we were going to order them a new loveseat which could take six to eight weeks to receive.As soon as we received the new loveseat we called the [redacted]'s to set up delivery. Mr. [redacted] said he would get back to us with a date. Two weeks later they called back to set up a delivery date. After delivering the new loveseat they called complaining about the new loveseat. Also, now they are saying the sofa is not working properly.J.M. Beatty Furniture has done everything possible to satisfy the [redacted]'s but to no avail. We believe there is nothing more we can do to make them happy with their furniture.Sincerely,J.M. Beatty Furniture Inc.
