4.4.2017Hello, I received your notification of this complaint [redacted] already made me aware that she filed it [redacted] filed it prematurely without all the facts on impulseI have already spoken with her about it and informed her that if any such complaint goes live she will be sued for defamation. Here are the facts: [redacted] is a previous Customer of mine who is a renter moving into a new place and wanted it paintedAt the old house, I was paid by the Landlord for painting services but at this new place her Mother was footing the bill.I went to the house did the estimate and submitted it to the MotherMother came back and said that [redacted] and her were not on the same page regarding what I was supposed to doMother claimed [redacted] only told her it was going to be walls only but [redacted] had me submit a proposal for walls, ceiling and trim plus doors and kitchen cabinets plus carpet cleaningNeedless to say, the Mother was shocked and not happy with ***.I told the Mother that if she wants an estimate on just walls can do that but mentioned that the house had beige walls ceiling and trimI said that [redacted] wants the ceiling and trim white otherwise it will look funnyI then gave the Mother an estimate for walls ceiling and trim only which she accepted and paid me.I then completed the work plus a lot more for freeI have plenty of before and after picturesThe Yellow walls didn't cover in two coats since it was a light color going over a dark beige so I had to roll the walls a 3" coat and pay extra for that additional paintI never charged the Customer extra for that I did it for free. There was also a snow storm halfway through the project two feet of snow and the Customer never plowed or shoveled walkways to the houseI did that for her too as a courtesy and never charged her.Even though the interior doors were backed out by the Mother threw a coat of paint on them as a courtesyI just didn't paint the exterior side of the front door since it was winter but the inside of that door was painted plus both sides of all interior doors absolutely free.Anyway, I did a ton of free courtesty work for this repeat customer and she got everything her Mother paid forI have a copy of the contract which shows if I had done the cabinets and doors she would owe me hundreds moreThe contract was for little over $and Mother only paid me $The Mother backed out the cabinets and doors but did the interior doors anyway as a Courtesy and have pictures to prove it.This repeat customer already told me (prior to this misunderstanding) they were calling me back for power washing and to paint the deck when weather was nicer plus installation of a screen doorSo, there is no way I would mess up my relationship with this customer knowing that there is a lot more future business with them doesn't make sense. But regardless saved all text messages with the Mother and ***plus pictures from the project proving [redacted] is fully mistaken and filed her bogus complaint prematurely prior to verifying the facts and getting on the same page with her MotherI already spoke to the Mother and she said she would handle it but ***filed this bogus complaint before speaking with her MotherAttached are text messages verifying the truth.Technically [redacted] owes me a big apology but I understand she acted on impulse prematurelyforgive herBut I am dead serious any bogus complaint goes live I will sue her for defamationSincerely, Jason MOwner

4.4.2017Hello, I received your notification of this complaint. [redacted] already made me aware that she filed it. [redacted] filed it prematurely without all the facts on impulse. I have already spoken with her about it and informed her that if any such complaint goes live she will be sued for...

defamation. Here are the facts: [redacted] is a previous Customer of mine who is a renter moving into a new place and wanted it painted. At the old house, I was paid by the Landlord for painting services but at this new place her Mother was footing the bill.I went to the house did the estimate and submitted it to the Mother. Mother came back and said that [redacted] and her were not on the same page regarding what I was supposed to do. Mother claimed [redacted] only told her it was going to be walls only but [redacted] had me submit a proposal for walls, ceiling and trim plus doors and kitchen cabinets plus carpet cleaning. Needless to say, the Mother was shocked and not happy with [redacted].I told the Mother that if she wants an estimate on just walls can do that but mentioned that the house had beige walls ceiling and trim. I said that [redacted] wants the ceiling and trim white otherwise it will look funny. I then gave the Mother an estimate for walls ceiling and trim only which she accepted and paid me.I then completed the work plus a lot more for free. I have plenty of before and after pictures. The Yellow walls didn't cover in two coats since it was a light color going over a dark beige so I had to roll the walls a 3" coat and pay extra for that additional paint. I never charged the Customer extra for that I did it for free. There was also a snow storm halfway through the project two feet of snow and the Customer never plowed or shoveled walkways to the house. I did that for her too as a courtesy and never charged her.Even though the 13 interior doors were backed out by the Mother threw a coat of paint on them as a courtesy. I just didn't paint the exterior side of the front door since it was winter but the inside of that door was painted plus both sides of all interior doors absolutely free.Anyway, I did a ton of free courtesty work for this repeat customer and she got everything her Mother paid for. I have a copy of the contract which shows if I had done the cabinets and doors she would owe me hundreds more. The contract was for little over $2100 and Mother only paid me $1800. The Mother backed out the cabinets and doors but did the 13 interior doors anyway as a Courtesy and have pictures to prove it.This repeat customer already told me (prior to this misunderstanding) they were calling me back for power washing and to paint the deck when weather was nicer plus installation of a screen door. So, there is no way I would mess up my relationship with this customer knowing that there is a lot more future business with them doesn't make sense. But regardless saved all text messages with the Mother and [redacted]plus pictures from the project proving [redacted] is fully mistaken and filed her bogus complaint prematurely prior to verifying the facts and getting on the same page with her Mother. I already spoke to the Mother and she said she would handle it but [redacted]filed this bogus complaint before speaking with her Mother. Attached are text messages verifying the truth.Technically [redacted] owes me a big apology but I understand she acted on impulse prematurely. forgive her. But I am dead serious any bogus complaint goes live I will sue her for defamationSincerely, Jason MOwner
