I can't say enough negative things about this 'company' Worst experience I have ever had with any business in any industry Essentially a scam Takes your money, then calls people out of the phone book to come to your house and do the work, but gives them no direction or supervision, and sends in a different person seemingly every other day Ignores your concerns and then tells you it's 'too late to go backwards' on things This guy cost us thousands of dollars and months of our lives, please don't make the same mistake that we did

response to complaint #***, the customer was informed that we, at no charge would come to her property and produce a water test to find the origin of the problemShe was then informed that if the area that had been repaired was in fact the problem, it would be repaired at no charge because it would be under warrantyHowever, If the area was different, then we would have to charge time and material for the additional workThis is company policy, and we were prepared to schedule, but the customer did not follow through.Thank-youC.B*** ###-###-####

Justin Grove has refused to pay his sub-contractor for the project (says he will in days) and is not taking our phone calls The subcontractor is threatening a lien against our property for higher grade materials for which he paid and for his labor This has been a nightmare WE have offered to pay the subcontractor for the materials but he says we are responsible for getting Justin to pay for labor We paid Justin on time but looks like we are going to be on the hook for $1100-$more Beware

I am rejecting this response because the leak that we are experiencing is, again, in the exact same location and of the same nature as prior to the almost $2000 "repair" by JM Grove.
We agree, if the leak is in the area that the work was done originally and is due to poor workmanship, we should have no additional charges. The company should cover this in full.
We, disagree, however, that we should incur any additional charges if the leak is in another area of the roof. The company should have diagnosed the exact location of the leak prior to randomly re-flashing the roof. They never did a leak test the first time. In order for us to schedule further work, JM Grove is mandating that we sign a contract that says we are responsible for additional charges. We strongly feel we should not be responsible for expenses related to their incorrect diagnosis and work the first time, as our leak is in no way improved from the start.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
First, the project passed inspection because I spent $1,778.14 in additional expenses to finish the job.  The breakdown of those expenses is below.  JM Grove failed to deliever the required materials to finish the project.  Additionally, I had to schedule all the inspections because the contractor was not present.  The project could not have passed inspection without the numerous materials I purchased or without electricity or finish drywall being provided for the room.
·         $528.14: items purchased from [redacted] at the request of the subcontractors
·         $600.00: subpanel installation to finish the electrical for the project
·         $400.00: to finish the drywall and patch areas of drywall left unfinished
·         $210.00: to finish the drywall in the basement and patch holes left by the electrician.
·         $40.00: to your unpaid plumbing contractor to pay for the permit application fee.
Total: $1,778.14
Second, throughout this process I have made numerous verbal and written complaints regarding workmanship and material issues.  We have had dozens of emails regarding these matters.  For JM Grove to state that I have told all the installers I am completely happy with the work is shocking.  Their statements are absoultely false.
Lastly, I have paid JM Grove.  JM Grove last week said they were not depositing my remaining checks.  It turns out the day before they had already deposited the checks.  I have paid them $12,902.81.  This dispute is over the fact that I have refused to pay the remaining $1,778.14 because I had to purchase materials and hire additional contractors to finish the project so that it could pass inspection.
Additionally, I made the last $2,902.81 payment with the promise from Justin Grove that he would give the entirety of that amount to his unpaid subcontractors.  He has only partially paid his subcontractors and has kept the remaining balance (approxiamtely $1,000.00) for himself.  Regards,[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:Because “Their contractors” were not licensed contractors as far as I know. One of them was assigned painting for the entry. He found rotted wood and refused to paint over it and left the work, horrified. He came back to tell me and did some painting for me. The only time I saw the “contractor” from J.M. Grove was when he got my check. Every day I called and he assured me that he would personally make sure that the work would be perfect at the end. He never showed up again! Painting on peeling paint without any prep. Covving open to the elements. The purported man that found everything OK refused to go upstairs to see the horror. But he saw the covving not sealed on the garage frame. I had to tear all of the shoddy work to protect my home. J. M. Grove is a predator on Seniors. Please let people know so at least I will be their last victim.

Justin Grove has refused to pay his sub-contractor for the project (says he will in 30 days) and is not taking our phone calls. The subcontractor is threatening a lien against our property for higher grade materials for which he paid and for his labor. This has been a nightmare. WE have offered to pay the subcontractor for the materials but he says we are responsible for getting Justin to pay for labor. We paid Justin on time but looks like we are going to be on the hook for $1100-$3600 more. Beware.

Review: The company in question installed new gutters that have been leaking on multiple places. I complained via phone on a couple of occasions and then to one of their representative, who came to give an estimate for another job, to which happened to be raining on that day and he took videos to show the manager. A month went by and has to continue complaining about it. Finally my neighbor happened to employ them for the same job and finally got a reply that they will fix the issue at the same time they are to install my neighbor gutters. Short story, it has not been fixed. Emails with videos of the problem where sent to the company.
