Is it possible to leave the complaint open longer or do I have to issue a new one? They have been very willing to schedule appointments in past, but they don't show up to do the work. I was waiting for them to do the repair and didn't realize the 10 day deadline.Thank you for any guidance in this matter. [redacted] [redacted]

Dear Customer, We have received your complaint and have reviewed itFrom our understanding the issues that were created during the job performed were a result of our sub contractor's being hired on the side to do additional work that was not associated with the contract between JMBK, LLC and
the homeowner'sThis caused delay in the time line since sub's were directing time one the side projects instead of the main projectWhen trying to remedy the situation and bringing in additional help from our own employee's, we were told not to have them backAlso, the shower glass was ordered, however; the order was canceled once we were told payment was not going to be received from the homeowner'sNot only was this told directly to our employee's but also to our subcontractorsAllowances, were stated in the original contractThe tile that was chosen for the bathroom was a more expensive tile and was clarified as a homeowner's expense in contractThe original contract also stated a shower seat, this was redone times due to homeowner deciding mid process they wanted it larger and than larger againJMBK, LLC did receive a deposit and the partial rough in paymentOnce it was repeatedly told to not only our guys but our subcontractors that final payment will not be received all work came to a haltAs far as guilty of tile work Homeowner's called and told Matthew (owner of company) and Dustin K*** (worker) That Dustin was doing a great job with the tile and they liked everything that was being doneComplaint about plumber, JMBK, LLC addressed * *** * *** when Homeowner called and informed JMBK,LLC about the issue* *** * *** came in the following day and fixed the problemsSteam room control was going to be cut out, but JMBK,LLC was told that homeowner's did not want JMBK,LLC back on the job siteJMBK, LLC would be more than happy to come back and do all punch list items, but would like to have two days on job site with sub's and JMBK, LLC employee's without any distractions or a hostile environment. Extra Comment's from JMBK,LLC: This job would have gone a lot smoother, if customer would not have been telling electrician, plumber, framer, and tile layer what to do and how to do itAlso, if customer had an issue with subcontractor's on job site than why would they have hired sub's to do side work form them separately

Jmbk,LLC apologizes that the person assigned to the job was only working 1/daysTo our knowledge he was scheduled to be there all day and even stated that he was there full daysWe have decided to no longer do business with him and apologize for the delay that it caused on the jobFrom my understanding Matthew, the owner had also been to the job site multiple times to check in and was constantly on the phone with the homeowner (husband)I have personally never heard the conversations except from the office end, but everything had seemed to be going good and Matthew had talked to the homeowner's about the time lineWe also greatly apologize that the sub contractor's had called the homeowner's at workThis is another reason why we have made some different choices with who we will be working with. JMBK, LLC has reviewed the contract between JMBK and the homeowner'sWe do apologize that the time line was extendedFrom my knowledge we had kept open communication with homeowner's about the progress of the project. JMBK, LLC also apologizes that homeowner had to go somewhere else to complete the work the wanted doneJMBK was under the impression homeowner no longer wanted JMBK on the job siteThere was a final payment of $4,that JMBK, LLC has no asked for, nor will ask for due to these issues. However; JMBK, LLC will not be reimbursing the homeowner for materials, labor to complete work, shower and steam room glass, or the 10% discount.JMBK, LLC stands by that we would have been more than happy to complete the workCommunication would have been a key factor to have avoided this mess. We apologize for the inconvenience and the miscommunicationWe have remedied the issues on our end with the sub's that we decided to contract to do the work Please don't hesitate to call Matthew at *** ** ***If a voicemail is reached please leave a message
