I placed a order in store with the manager Usman on 2/24/20(order number 614630) I spent $1,261.40 on a dinning room table with four chairs and a bench, rug and two twin mattresses I also paid a delivery fee and fee for the dinning room set to be put together upon delivery. Once I ordered my furniture Usman assures me that my furniture would be delivered by Friday but maybe as soon as Thursday. Then I called the store Thursday and was told by Usman it would probably be Friday. Usman called me Friday morning to say that it would be Saturday. Saturday Usman called me to cancel Saturday delivery and I got upset because of the inconvenience I eventually agreed for a Sunday delivery with him on the phone but let Usman know how unprofessional he is operating me as a paying customer. Usman then called me back two hours later and said I would indeed receive my delivery that day which was Saturday. I rushed home to wait the nice professional delivery guys worked on putting the chairs together first. But once they got to the table they realized the table was missing screws. The delivery men called Usman he got on video phone call via IPhone with me and told me unfortunately I won’t get my table until Wednesday 3/4/20. I was extremely upset at the unprofessional experience I’ve had with Usman and the entire process. I let him know how much of a inconvenience this entire process has been and I would be complaining to the corporate office he smiles and said, “Go ahead” ! I feel robbed and taken advantage of I have four chairs and a bench in my dinning room with no table. I work even at this current moment 3/4/20 at 12:12 p.m. I’m at home waiting and I haven’t received a delivery time estimate, a follow up call simply nothing but taken advantage of by this business and the manager Usman. I would like my delivery fee refunded for my inconvenience and the company failure to deliver my purchase with all its parts and my dinning room table. I feel like they took my money and they’re treating me like I didn’t pay

Dear Revdex.com,I am writing to you in response to a complaint that was filed by [redacted] , residing at [redacted] ***, Suitland, MD ***[redacted] agrees that the "delivery employees were very professional and quick with bringing the furniture up to the third floor" She also lists that per our policy, the delivery hours are between 9:to 11:to which she responds that she received her merchandise at 8:pm We would also like to highlight that any transactions that are cancelled even immediately are subjected to 35% cancellation/restocking fee.It is with regret that the merchandise was not put together until the next day to which I am sure that she agreed to because of the lack of proper tools She received her merchandise on the day she request and the installation took place next day to which she agreed without refusal.The manager, MrAli, responded to [redacted] 's concern and offered a full refund to which she refused and asked for a discount instead We ensured [redacted] that she will receive a discount on any merchandise for all future purchases.Our managers and employees at JMD Furniture receive training before entering the workplace on ethics and moral behavior But being on the other side of the table during a transaction also has limitation when the behavior of a consumer lacks morality and politeness MrAli's behavior during [redacted] 's transaction was kept professional, and he maintained professional boundaries by offering refund without being subjected to 35% cancellation charge[redacted] 's asking of a $refund has no grounds She was offered a complete refund to which she refused and she was offered a discount on a future purchase which still surfaces should she pursue a transaction in the future.After a brief review with our managers as well as our delivery department We have reached a determinative action that [redacted] is not subjected to a refund.Thank you9/15/16JMD Furniture TEAM

would like to notify Revdex.com about few points that *** *** made in terms of JMD's sales purchase agreement.a)*** *** and his wife were aware of the sale price and the availability of the stock prior to the payment arrangementsWe confirmed this information before we collected payment and issued them a receiptb)He was also informed that if he wants to take advantage of the sale price and if he wants to reserve one then he would need to pay in full in order for us to reserve the aforementioned items for himWe do not provide layaway options on items that are limited stockWe only confirmed with these details and then we concluded the sale.c)We order merchandize via a third-party transportation services and once an item leaves our distribution center, we incur delivery costs*** *** sofa was ordered as soon as he purchased itd)*** *** was provided a copy of the policy printed on the back of his receipt (which confirms the 35% cancellation charge).e)We have a copy of our policy posted in our store (in front of the register, visible to the naked eye)f)We also offered him store credit that has no expiration dateWe also offered him other sets at discounted price.g)Fernando (sales rep) is bilingual and *** *** and him conversed flawlessly in SpanishI am NOT sure why he intends on mocking his linguistic skills.I am unable to refund $for *** *** at the momentWe have incurred transportation charges and for his set after his sofa was orderedHe was not mistreated at the store, as we were keen on solving the issueWe attempted multiple times for a resolution to this conflict but *** *** was adamant on the refund.Jasmine P.Manager
