Review: I hired [redacted] of [redacted] also DBA Jay Marco Plumbing to install a backflow prevention valve on the domestic water main supplying my building conforming to all NYC codes and regulations. All permits and inspections were contractually the responsibility of [redacted]. They didn't complete the installation, testing or file completion with the NYC Building Dept. or NYC DEP. [redacted] refused to complete the job and refused for over 6 months to respond to my phone messages or letter. I had another plumber looked at it and I was advised me it was improperly done. [redacted] never had the NYC inspection performed as required for completion. I received a NYC violation as a result with a $1000 fine. They were paid $2950 in full for the job.Desired Settlement: Refund $3950 or correct the defect and cover the fine.
