To Whom It May...

Concern: I am responding to Complaint #[redacted]. as I stated in my e-mail dated 3/17/15, we diddiscuss this with the individual and I have attached that documentation. In addition. I wantexplain the role of Job Options Inc., as there seems to be some confusion. We are a nonMprofitcompany that began doing business in 1987. We are awarded federal contracts base onlegislation that mandates that we hire individuals with disabilities. We have contracts at many ofthe bases in the San Diego area such as 32ad St Naval Station. NMC Balboa and the mess hallson the Camp Pendleton to mention a few. We are paid for the work we do just like any otheremployer, we are not a program funded by the government as the individual stated. I wanted thisclarified as I feel that could have been part of the reason for the individuals concern. Since we do work on federal bases background checks are required prior to allowing anindividual to work on the base. In addition, annually the majority of our 1000 employees mustreapply for access as well. Unfortunately over the years the background checks have becomemore and more strict and taken longer to process. As I am sure you realize we have absolutely nocontrol of this process and the time it will take. We do attempt to stay in touch with all ourapplicants the best we can but it is often difficult with the amount of applicants and employeeswe have to track. I am sorry that the individual felt that were not pro-active and we will striveto improve this process. If there are any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely.

The Revdex.comComplaint #[redacted]
In receiving complaint [redacted], we personally contacted our potential employee to discuss theissues that she said she was experiencing. We spoke in length about the Rapid-Gate process, where it was emphasized that Job Options has no control over this government backgroundcheck. It was confirmed that all required documentation has been submitted to the decisionmaker's attention and that the conununication may have been more frequent in the beginning ofthe appeal process as we were trying to obtain the needed documentation from the potentialemployee. It was decided that we would check in with the potential employee every couple ofweeks, even if the update remains the same.
Since the conversation, the potential employee has received an approval letter from the base. JobOptions sent the approval letter to Rapid-Gate and have requested that they confirm when herbadge is ready for pick-up.

Job Options treats their disabled employees worse than most American's animals are treated. They are not honest in their presentation of employment and advancement opportunities. Their management participates in illegal activities and treats employees disrespectfully and abusively. The management gives no direction or assistance for the disabled employee to improve. What a hypocritical reality compared to Job Options glowing website presentation. I work in the medical field and see many mentally disable patient's. I will never again refer anyone to seek employment assistance from this organization.
