It came in through my spam mailbox as a message stating: "YOU'RE HIRED, Josh: Congratulations!" That is how the email starts and I did not even try to click it to read the rest. Please, do not fall victim to this. Report it and ignore it! We have to have each others backs. -Josh G.

Well waddaya know; I've been hired for $1,725 per week part-time! All I have to do is click on the pretty cornflower blue link. Yes, I was born at night, but not last night. sheesh...
After I forwarded the email to [email protected], the Federal Trade Commission's scam/phish reporting email, I marked it as phishing and moved it to trash.
TOTAL SCAM.

I responded to a job posting on Craigslist, that directed me to Joblur.com for details and to applyThe job posting appeared genuine enough, so I entered my name and contact information in the appropriate fieldsI should have noticed before submitting, that nowhere did it ask me to upload a resumeThere were no Terms of Service shown or accessible from the Application page
Within a few days, my Inbox was overflowing with spam, and multiple telemarketers a day were harrassing me by phone, all of whom claim that I consented to be contacted by themSuspicious by now, I visited Joblur.com again, but this time to the Home Page rather than through any Job ApplicationHERE there was a link to their Terms of Service, which stated that they would indeed sell my contact information to people offering "goods and services" (i.etelemarketers, spammers and fellow scam artists), and that my consent thereto was implicitly rendered by tendering my Application"
Lastly, I went straight to the website of the company said to be hiringThere was no vacancy listed in my area for the job for which I had "applied"

One evening, I received an email from "Joblur" that basically said there were available jobs in my area with a list of those jobs. Desperate for a full-time job, I hastily submitted my resume and gave my contact information after clicking on the listing that sounded most appealing to me. I was directed to a website called "Salary Star" although the job database site name listed in the email I received was "Joblur". I was then instructed to submit my resume and fill in some contact information blanks. After I submitted my application, my gut told me to Google the website and I found that "Salary Star" is legit-- I guess. However, after Googling "Joblur", a few results appeared that had the word "scam" in the description below. I immediately blocked the email address listed. I also went to the website of the company I thought I was applying for a job with and found that there were no job openings in my area! I am not sure about the many phone calls and emails yet because I decided to write this the same day I submitted my "application". I pray to God that my phone and inbox will not start being blown up by spammers, but who knows. Also, on the "Joblur" website, I am not able to click on the "Contact Us" feature--it's not active to click on.

JobBlur is not a legitimate or professional organization. They have called me repeatedly, asked a few questions and told me they would email me job postings. That never happened. I got some bogus emails about having a $200 check on hand. What?? Last guy I talked to hung up on me toward the end of our conversation when I told him I was not interested in education opportunities. Tried calling back to get an explanation and all you get is a recording. Do not waste your time!!
