There was no re-painting requested or required#3: It took a number of weeks to replace a broken window which should have been completed in a week as promised#3: The homeowner was advised the replacement window would take between to weeks to arrive. The window arrived in weeks and was promptly installed. The overall quality of the work completed was unacceptable and far below my expectation Labor charges in general were significantly beyond any general pattern and practices, additionally I had requested a breakdown of labor charges on the second invoice by project which I did not receiveThe project was completed in two phases due to the client’s separate request. Phase work was completed in March 2016. *** *** was billed for this work via invoice # ***. This total for this invoice was $2,which included 2,for labor and for materials. This invoice was paid in full on 4/4/via check # ***. The following work was completed under this invoice: Dug out old window well Picked up new window well Installed new larger egress window well, backed filled and compacted soil Removed left over dirt Paint trim around house where needed Clean rust off window wells Pickup painted and install downspout extensions Cleaned up at patio slab and house cement, installed painted trim pieces Removed old tubing insulation on AC condensing units Removed Christmas light clips around house Install new door sweep @ rear door to patio & cleaned off glue that had oozed out from trim Adjusted front entrance door Installed a new washing machine drip tray Cleaned fireplace glass panels After Phase was completed and paid in full*** *** requested additional work to be completed. This work was completed in May *** *** was emailed invoiced # *** on 5/24/16. The invoice included the material cost of $which included the replacement window cost of $245. The labor cost of $included the following work completed: Paint window well Replace broken glass block Replace master tub faucet aerator Replace 2nd floor toilet filler valve Relocate drip line system #4: After a discussion with *** *** one of the owners we agreed on a payment of $versus the original invoice amount of $1,#Response: After invoice # # *** was sent via email to *** *** *** called Mr*** *** the same day in a very disgruntle and rude manner. After many profanities on the part of *** ***, the call was ended with *** *** refusing to pay the invoice for the work performed. He very plainly and directly advised MrRivera that if payment was expected, that Jodan Builders would need to take *** *** to court. This was the last conversation with *** ***. Once I was advised of the situation, history and the client’s direction, I started proceedings with Arapahoe County, CO to issue a mechanical lien as described by *** *** in the compliantThere was never an agreement nor an adjusted invoice as stated by *** *** #I mailed the check in the amount of $to the address listed on the invoice on 06-1-2016, however on 06-16-the mailing envelope and contents were return from the USPS with a yellow sticker on the front of the envelope stating that it was not deliverable#Response: I did not receive said check however I do acknowledge that in June and July of this year, I had an issue with the USPS regarding errors on returning mail correctly addressed to Jodan buildersThe error has since been corrected by USPS. On the same day I received the letter back from the post office I received a document in the mail which turned out to be from Jodan Builders LLC which was an Affidavit of Mailing Notice of Intent to LienJodan Builders LLC was threatening to place a mechanic’s lien on my property if I did not pay the $1,within dayBased on the fact this property was under a contract of sale I had no choice but to pay this amount even though we had previously agreed on a payment of $ #6: In closing utilizing Jodan Builders LLC was a major mistake and I think all potential customers should be made aware of how bad a contractor they are prior to making a decision to utilize them#Response: While *** *** has a right to his opinion, Jodan Builders has never had a Revdex.com compliant until now. Additionally, *** *** never expressed his dissatisfaction with the quality of the workThis is further proven by his request for additional work after Phase was completed and paid in fullJODAN builders has a strong reputation of customer service and going above and beyond for our clients in order to provide the achieve the highest customer satisfactionConsumer’s Desired Resolution: I WANT A BILLING ADJUSTMENT REFUND OF $Response: Jodan Builders is not prepared to refund the requested amount. The work was performed to our highest standard as outlined in the invoice. If the quality of the work is in question, Jodan Builders would be happy to review the work with the client. I WANT ALL PROSPECTIVE CONSUMERS TO HAVE ACCESS TO MY COMPLAINT PRIOR TO THERE DECISION TO USE THIS CONTRACTORResponse: Jodan Builders has no issue with this request so long as Jodan Builders’ response are included to all prospective consumers
