Ever since I moved into the neighborhood, this store has had a "Wifi" sign in the front window. For years there was no Wifi. (I asked.) A year or two ago they put up a Wifi network name and password sign at the desk, and this Wifi service has been active about 2/3 of the time. It's not online now.
I always do my laundry self-service here.
At least once I've seen someone else's full-service load in the dryer with a ticket stuck to the dryer door that said "No dry". The attendant at the time did not speak English, so I didn't try to address the situation.
Caveat emptor.
The incident where I witnessed drying of a full service load marked "No dry" happened in the last few weeks up to today 15 October 2018.
Review: I took 3 pieces of clothing to be cleaned at Jodie King Laundry. One Leather Bike Jacket, One Mesh bike jacket and one regular suit jacket. The three pieces had a odor from being in storage and I wanted that removed. The leather jacket was dirty, so it needed to actually be cleaned. I was given a receipt for the 3 pieces for $34.00, each bike jacket was $15.00 and the regular fabric was $4.00.I left the items on Saturday November *, 2013. On November **, 2013 I received a text message from [redacted], saying that the leather bike jacket would be $50.00 not $15.00 as I was originally charged. I disputed the charge and I was charged $31.00 for the leather bike jacket, $15.00 for the mesh bike jacket and $4.00 for the fabric jacket for a total $50.00.I paid the $50.00, but when I got home I checked my clothes and they were still dirty and still had the same odor, just as I left them to be cleaned . I called the owner and explained that the items were still dirty and that I was not happy with their service. I took the items to show them that they were still dirty and I wanted my money back. She explained to me that they use an outside company to do their cleaning and that they would send it back to them to have it cleaned. at this point I do not trust this company and I prefer to get my money back. they refused to refund me.Desired Settlement: the full amount paid $50.00
