I was going to purchase a vehicle from them, I bought insurance didn't get the truck. They won't give me a statement saying I don't have possession.I was going to purchase a vehicle from them, because they told me my down payment would be $1500. On 01/30/15 I received my taxes, and bought insurance for the vehicle I thought I was going to get. I get to the dealership they now tell me my down payment will be $2,500! So, I walked away, went to another dealership, and got a totally different vehicle. I called the first insurance company([redacted] Insurance) and cancelled the policy on 01.31.15 because it would not transfer to the vehicle I actually obtained. It has been more than a month and still no refund. I called [redacted] Insurance and they stated that I need to have a letter/statement from the dealership with the VIN # of the vehicle stating I DO NOT have this vehicle. I called [redacted]'s Autorama on 03/09/15 just to see if they could simply write me a statement. Miss "[redacted]" called me today 03/10/15 and stated that "there's nothing I can do for you SINCE you didn't purchase the vehicle from us...". So this is some kind of vindictive act because I din't purchase a vehicle from them. This is shady business, and that's what my complaint is about. How difficult can it be just to write a statement say "I don't have the vehicle with VIN # XXXX? I will be filing a complaint on [redacted] Insurance also!Desired SettlementI just need a state from them saying I don't have the vehicle. Business Response THE CUSTOMER CAME INTO MY DEALERSHIP LOOKED AT SEVERAL VEHICLES AND SETTLED ON ONE. WE DID ALL THE PAPERWORK GOT HER APPROVED BUT SHE DID NOT LEAVE A DEPOSIT. THE VEHICLE WAS SUBSEQUENTLY SOLD. THE CUSTOMER RETURNED WEEKS LATER WANTING THE SAME VEHICLE. WE HAD A SIMILAR VEHICLE BUT THE DOWN PAYMENT WAS HIGHER. SHE ASKED WHY. WE TOLD HER SINCE SHE LEFT NO DEPOSIT THERE WAS NO DEAL SINCE NO DEAL WE DID NOT GUARANTY ANYTHING. IF SHE GOT INSURANCE IT IS HER PROBLEM. SHE IS NOT MY CUSTOMER WE NEVER HAD A DEAL, WE NEVER TOLD HER TO GET INSURANCE ON A CAR WE HAD ALREADY SOLD, WE DID NOT PROMISE TO HOLD ANYTHING FOR HER UNLESS SHE LEFT A DEPOSIT WHICH SHE DID NOT, IF SHE CANCELLED INSURANCE ON A CAR WE NEVER SOLD HER THAT IS HER PROBLEM. SHE IS NOT MY CUSTOMER. I HAVE NO CONTRACT WITH HER. IT IS NOT A NON DELIVERY, OR ROLLBACK WE NEVER DELIVERED HER A CAR. Business Response MS ALLEN HAS CONTACTED EVERYONE. SHE HAS RETAINED A LAWYER. ALL SHE HAS TO DO IS TAKE HER CAR TO A REPUTABLE REPAIR FACILITY AND LET THE WARRANTEE FIX HER CAR. EVERYTHING ELSE ABOUT THE COMPLAINT IS RIDICULOUS. NOBODY AT KERAS SAID THOSE THINGS TO HER. I CONTACTED KERAS THEY DENIED HAVING THAT CONVERSATION WITH HER. Its not about the recalls. Jim keras fixed the car. They got me out of the car.My problem is with them sticking me in the car. Knowing way before I got the car. It was trouble. I told them about the check engine light the day I put it in the layaway back in January. They had from then to check that car out. They chose to stick me in it and make it my problem. That's why they kept telling me I had to get the car first. Before they could check it out. Why? When I told u the light was on . Robert passed it off as it being the tire pressure light on. That's why the engine light was on. You sold me that car in it's condition not jim keras or the repair facility. This was your car you lied to me about its condition.it is you you you. If you was any kind of a good dealer you would've gotten it checked out. And considered me another car.The day I put it in the layaway. But no. You chose to put me in that car. Ignoring me to have it checked out. Knowing well something was wrong. All you did prior to my purchase. Was have jackson tire to cut the light off. Cause you already knew I was concerned by that light. Jackson tire tried twice to fix it. Why you not tell people that? Hiding facts. Like you hide the facts on that car. You are a dishonest dealer. You put me and my children life in danger. Fooling around with that junk car. And yes jim keras worker told me to keep driving till something blows. They found out it had after market parts on it. The coil,fuel injector. Got the repair form backing my claim. Jackson tire worked on it after I got it. Stop blaming everyone else but yourself. Jim keras made a mistake diagnosing the problem and telling me that. But they fixed it. Got me out of the no good car. They did more than you. They didn't even sell me that car. And helped me. You didn't care was out to make money off of me with a bad condition car. 19000 for a car no good. Yeah right! Stop blaming the repair facility or jim keras. This started with you selling me the car in its condition. Making it my problem knowing something was wrong it. My problem is with you and your car you sold me. If you was any kind of a good dealer. MY COLLEGUE CAME RUNNING TO ME STATING THAT SOMEONE HAS TAKEN MY VEHICLE. INSIDE THE 2006 FOR MUSTANGE WAS MY WALLET AND OTHER PERSONAL BELONGINGS. MINUTES AFTER I CALL DELARSHIP MR. I RECEIVED THE ITEAMS FROM THE TRUNK BUT I DID NOT RECEIVE MY CONTRACT THAT WAS PUT IN A DEALER FUNDING PACKAGED NOR DID I RECEIVE MY RECEIPT FOR TEH $500.00 DOWN PAYMENT WAS IN THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT. ALL OF THESE ITEAMS WHERE IN THE VEHICLE BUT MR. [redacted] AND [redacted] DID NOT GIVE ME THAT INFORMATION. THAT SAID IT WAS NOT THERE. BUT I HAVE PROOF THAT IT WAS THERE BECAUSE IN THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT THERE WAS A MEDICATION BOTTLE FOR MY MEDICATION AND A TRAFFIC TICKET THAT WAS THERE AS WELL. I INFORMED HER THAT I DID NOT GET OFF UNTIL 6:00 P. M. AND DO TO ME HAVING NO TRANSPORTATION BY THE TIME I MAKE IT THERE IT WOULD BE TOO LATE. SHE THEN INFORMED THAT THE PERSON WHO SOLD ME THE CAR WAS A CAR SALESMAN AND THAT I SHOULD SPEAK AND LET HIM KNOW THAT I AM IN THE MARKET FOR A VEHICLE. BUT I NEVER DID SPEAK WITH HIM. ON NOVEMBER 16,2013 I WAS AT OUR PRAISE TEAM REHERSAL WHEN A FRIEND OF THE CAR SALESMAN STATED "HE WANTED ME TO ASK WOULD YOU LIKE FOR ME TO BRING YOU OUT TO THE CAR LOT TO GET YOU A VEHICLE"? I REPLIED BACK TO HER HER THAT I WOULD LOVE TO GO BUT I HAVE AN EYE DOCTORS APPOINTMENT AND THAT I WOULD CONTACT HER WHEN I AM DONE. AT APPROXIMATLY 5:45 P.M. I CONTACTED THE FRIEND OF THE CAR SALESMAN AND TOLD HER I WAS DONE AND THAT I WOULD LIKE TO GO. SHE STATED THAT THEY CLOSE AT 6:00 P. M AND THAT SHE WAS ON HERE WAY TO PICK HIM UP FROM WORK. ON THE FOLLOWING MONDAY ON 11/25/2013 A FRIEND TOOK ME TO VISIT JOE HILL AUTO RAMA AT 3498 JACKSON AVENUE MEMPHIS, TN WHERE I SPOKE WITH MY CHURCH MEMBER/CAR SALESMAN. HE ADVISED ME TO TAKE A LOOK AT SOME OF THEIR VEHICL AND LET HIM KNOW WHAT I LIKED. HE STATED THAT I COULD RIDE TODAY AS LONG AS I HAD MY DOWNPAYMENT AND INSURANCE. I INFORMED THE CAR SALESMAN/CHURCH MEMBER THAT I CAME OUT ON MY LUNCH BREAK TODAY TO SEE WHAT YOU HAD ON YOUR LOTT SINCE YOU HAD BEEN TRYING TO REACH OUT TO ME CONCERNING MY VEHICLE SEARCH. MR. [redacted] STATED THAT I ONLY NEEDED TO PUT $500.00 DOWN AND WITH PROOF OF INSURANCE FULL COVERAGE WITH A $500.00 DEDUCTABLE. FROM THIS POINT I COMPLETED MY APPLICATION WITH MR. [redacted] ALONG WITH A LIST OF REFERENCES. ON 11-25-2013 I CONTACTED JOE HILL AUTO RAMA TO SPEAK WITH MR [redacted] BUT HE DID NOT COME TO WORK ON THIS DATE. I THEN CONTACT MR. [redacted] ON HIS MOBIL NUMBER I INFORMED HIM THAT WAS READY FOR PURCHASE. HE STATED THAT HE DID NOT GO IN ON THIS DAY BUT HE HAD ME APPROVED AND THAT MY PAPERWORK WAS IN HIS DESK DRAWER AND MR. [redacted] WOULD TAKE CARE OF ME. I DID NOT GOT TO JOE HILL AUTO RAMA BECAUSE I WAS NOT FAMILIAR WITH MR. [redacted] I ONLY KNEW [redacted] BECAUSE HE WAS MY CHURCH MEMBER.AFTER THIS FOR TWO CONSECUTIVE WEEKS MR. [redacted] CONTACTED ME AT MY JOB TO SEE IF I WAS STILL INTRESTED IN THE VEHICLE AND THAT HE HAD OTHER CUSTOMERS WHO WAS INTRESTED IN BUYING. HE EVEN WENT TO THE POIN TO TELL SOME OF OUR CHURCH MEMBERS THAT IF THEY SPOKE WITH ME THAT I WAS APPROVED AND THAT HE JUST NEEDED ME TO COME ON IN WITH MY DOWN PAYMENT PROOF OF INSURANCE AND I WAS GOOD TO GO. ON 12/07/2013 AT APPROXIMATLEY 5:00 P.M. [redacted] TOOK ME TO JOE HILL AUTO RAMA TEH DAY OF PURCHASING THE VEHICLE. MR. [redacted] STATED THE DOWN PAYMENT WOULD BE $1000.00 WHICH I ONLY HAD TO PUT $500.00 DOWN AND THEY DID A PROMISARY LETTER FOR THE REMAINDING BALANCE. THIS NEED TO GOT FUTHER ON THE DAY THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN FROM MY JOB. I WENT TO JOE HILL AUTO RAMA WHERE THE CAR WAS BLOCKED IN BY AND SILVER EMPALA. I DID SPEAK WITH MY RESIDENT MANAGER SHE STATED THAT SHE DID NOT INFORM THESE PEOPLE THAT I WAS BEHIND TWO MONTHS IN RENT NOR DID SHE TELL THEM THAT I WAS GOING TO BE EVICTED. THIS WAS STASTED MY MR. [redacted] THAT I WAS ABOUT TO BE EVICTED. I ALSO CAN PROVIDE YOU WITH MY DOCUMENTS FOR THE DOWNPAYMENT AND INSURANCE DEPOSIT THAT I PAIDE. ALL PARTIES ARE INVOLVED JOE HILL OWNER, [redacted] AND MR. [redacted] I NEED RESULTS. THEY ARE TAKING ADVANGED OF PEOPLE AND TAKING THEIR MONEY!!!!!!Final Business Response MY COMPANY MADE EVERY ATTEMPT TO KEEP THIS CUSTOMER IN THIS CAR.
