While my new found success is probably aging me before my time, the financial rewards have certainly validated my hard workSo in an effort to manage my money wisely, I opened the standard retirement account (T Rowe) and started savingHowever after watching countless episodes of various flip this house type programs, I decide to research real-estate investmentIt was around this time I found the ad for the BRIC Group and input my informationIn return for my info I got a brochure which delivered plenty of pretty pictures but not much in the way of information, so I brushed it offAbout two days later I got a call from Florida, it was a sales rep for their companyThe initial call he asked questions about what I knew about investing in land, what I knew about Brazil and frankly it was a little annoying because I didn't know anything! Why else would I have looked at your info! If I knew all the answers to the questions he was asking I wouldn't need helpSo needless to say that first call annoyed me, but what information he did give out had me intriguedHe spoke about the investment level which for a plot of land in Brazil Seemed reasonable and that it would appreciate about 10-15% a year, and that I could finance As soon as I found myself getting interested in what he was saying, I started to get skeptical, and the realization that I didn't know this company and I had just clicked on an ad sank inHowever he cut me off before I could ask my in depth questionsAnd said that the first thing I would need is background info on his company so I could verify who is was dealing with, and I certainly couldn't argue thatI looked over the info and did my best scour the internet trying to find anything I could on the company, and the results as I stated earlier were limited, It was all generic infoThat said the rep on the phone was diligent and sincere and as I continued to pose questions about the development, and the companies Licensing(all in all I just wanted any fine print spelled out to me)
My rep was on top of it the whole time never missing a beatUltimately I did decide to purchase the land from them and the process was smooth and the documentation was on parI had all the final documents reviewed by my attorney and it was all solidI hope My review here helps in some way in giving you a little insight in what to expect when dealing with the BRIC Group
