Joe Somebody's Home Improvement

I tried this on Friday, but I could not get the system to accept. Maybe the system was down. This company was recommended to us by siblings near Bowling Green, and we had them do so stair upgrade and workin our living room. Though it was not much, we really liked what they did.

I had the pleasure of working with [redacted] who is the owner of Joe somebody's home improvement. My real Estate agent put me in touch. I had a Tennant move out abruptly with minimal notice. [redacted] and his crew came in and did a fabulous turn around on my home. There were kids drawings all over the house cat urine in some of the rooms and a hole in my ceiling that needed to be repaired and wood floors and some holes in the wall. He is very easy to work with and is a man of his word which I find the most important. The house rented in 2 days after he finished the work. He repainted carpet and restrained cabinets.

Our floor and sub-floor was severely damaged due to prolonged water issues. Actually, the sub-floor was rotted, and, as the crew suspected, we had joists that had rotted so bad, they actually broke! From top to bottom, everyone was very professional. They definitely deserve 5 stars.

My elderly mother has very been sick lately, and her kitchen was in bad dis-repair, to the point I was afraid she would receive serious injury. She still cares for herself. We fired one crew because they were impatient and rude with her. Joe's crew was such a blessing. [redacted] came out and personally spent time with mom, for about a half hour and would bring her and his crew coffee. Not only that, he came by a few days ago, about a month after the work was finished with guess what: coffee. My mom calls him and the crew her adopted sons. The only thing I regret is that I took so long to write this review. These guys are a blessing, and have restored my faith in businesses.

Love the paint job they did in my foyer and bathroom. I will be calling them back to finishing the rest of my home. Great attitudes great work!

I hired this contractor to repair the sub-floor and then tile it in our guest bathroom. The first day the crew was late, an obvious preview of things to come. Once the job was completed I was furious. I called them and told them I was very unhappy with the job and wanted it fixed, they assured me they would send a crew out to take a look and repair things. I never heard from them again. The issues: The tiles were cut very jagged and some even cracked, then installed one cracked tile and promised me it would not show...it did. The floor transition piece, I purchased, had four parts to it, they only used two pieces, it contimues to pop up showing the jagged tile. They damaged my walls, I have literally chunks missing from my drywall, I will have to repair and repaint. The trim work was put back up it SPLIT when they nailed it into the wall, they never bothered to cover the nails, so they show through. They did a horrid job on caulking around the tub and above the floor trim, its missing in some areas and in other areas the excess was WIPED ON THE WALL. There was grout all over the place, even on my walls and cabinet. I had to go over the floor 6 times and use a razor to get the rest of the grout off the tile. They reinstalled my toilet and it now moves. I will never ever ever use this company again. They may be the cheapest, but in the end you will be spending more money to have the job they did fixed. I wish I could attach pictures. Its a horrendous job.

I had a rotted sub floor in my bathroom, right around the toilet. This being my first time actually having to hire someone for a home improvement project there was a bit of trepidation involved. Turned out pretty good.

I called on a Tuesday to scheduled the appointment for an estimate, the owner and his project lead came out on Thursday to take a look at it and quote a price. Very friendly guys. The crew came out Saturday to do the job, took only about 4 hours. They cleaned up after themselves, took the mess with them. All in all very easy process. I plan on using these guys again in the future.
