I am rejecting this response because: I was never satisfied with the workWhen the put the "first coat" this was Monday when they said they would be doneAlso we told them many times we don't want "knock down" textureIt looked uneven and horribleAlso some of the ceilings were alr day painted over the "first coat" of textureI was not satisfied with how they left the placeWe asked for the receipt so that they would leaveHe did not want to leave we had a hour arguement about the quality of workLater if find out that the paint he gave me, the white paint bucket has diluted water in it not paintAnd I know this paint was fine when they had it because some of the ceiling is paint d with itSo there must be some dishonesty going on or the paint was left outside in the rain because it is super dilutedSecond I had two buckets of primer one oil based in a metal bucket and one latex basedI told them not to touch the latex based bucket and if they were going to paint the floors to use the oil based primer onlyThe oil based primer was used only 15-20% while the latex based is almost emptyAnd what's left is diluted waterI had this bucket at about 75% fullAgain some dishonesty with the primer as well. the neighbors did call the policeJoe told me they came and also the neighbors said they called them and they cameA police report will not necessarily be filed if they just asked him to be quit. We still did move the following Saturday as I told him we would even though the kitchen is stripped, the kitchen did not prevent me to move inI am currently working on the kitchen myself and have pictures of my progress to prove itWorking on the kitchen when I moved in was my plan all alone and hasIrving to do with Joe.Also the flooring contractors were in the very next morning after we parted with Joe, on time and on schedule.Painting the floors with primer took less than half a day because I showed up during the day and it wasn't painted and then I showed up at the end of the day and it was already dryAlso he insisted on painting the floors with primer for "tips" when all I asked was that he be done a little earlier so that I would have time to paint the floors myselfI said ok as long as it won't delay the workAlso the floors did not require extra care when painting like the walls do, so it would have taken me about 1.5hts to do by myselfThis was not what caused the delays Joe hadThey claimed to have been on my propert for at least 66hours total and yet barely started on Monday.also there was a footprint on my bathroom wall and both my neighbors and my driveway were full of paint and paint debri from when they washed their tools.I feel really ripped off even for the down payment we already gave him because I have more work to do now to clean up and undo the horrible texture they did.I will be satisfied if Joe stops contacting *** or meWe called him immediately after he left (within 5mins) to bring the second contract copyAnd left voicemails and SMSHe still decided to put the check in money tree instead of an actual bank.Sincerely, Sincerely,

cielings on 3 bedrooms upstairs. Upstairss hallway and 3 rooms down stairs living dining and entrance hall. Total on contract was $1647 with suply tax labor. He gave a $300.00 deposit and agreed job will be done on 23rd. We syarted the work. On jan/19th/2017 Mr [redacted] the son came over with his wife, late afternoon. He told me cause his naibor next door called him and said theiy was complaining a little about noise. So we have to leave before 7pm. We was talking and he told me since we doing this. He wanted estament to repair drywall and paint all the place grey sides and white ceilings. Except do not paint bathrooms and kitchen. [redacted] gave me a $500.00 deposit on jan/212017 for painting $2003.85 plus the contract I had with his dad for $1647.00 the naibor asked us not to syart at 6 a:m. He asked us to start at 9am the work we did was repair all the damage drywall sand all ceiling and plastor and resand. While we started texture first coat. Mr [redacted] and [redacted] came over. And was complaining about the texture. I told them that it was first coat and still has to be knocked down and texture 2 more times and we could finish texture that evening and start painting in morning. [redacted] was ok with it but his dad did not agree. They asked me to leave and not finish. So I explained on the sanding and preparing the cielings repair all the walls I baught 2 buckets of paint from shirinwilliams A-200 plus cost $199 per bucket plasture texture primer masking. So deduct the work they gave me a check for $1600 clean up and leave.after I cleanened up hauled garbage. They came back. We wrote a agreement that both party's are satisfied we did all prep work they going to finish texture and paint and Mr [redacted] wrote me a check for $1600.00 they expected the work I did I left the paint suply they paid for and gave thier key back. O and we even primerd all the floors for them at no charge. They suplied primer. I went to money tree and I cashed the check. I got a text from [redacted] that night that he needs the second contract back or they going to stop payment. So I called him in morning he told me to call his dad. I called him and he told me he'll call me back. I told him if he ain't got time I can mail it to him. So week in the half went by. I found out check was canceled. I called [redacted] he told me call his dad. I did he told me one of the paints was defeced that it has water thats why he put stop payment. I told him no problem I purchased it from shirinwilliams and paint is guaranteed from them. So I can take paint back or they can deduct it. He said he'll call me back. Few weeks went by. I can't get a hold of him. Every time I call him he texts me back saying he's at work and he'll call me later. Now on my behalf. I preped sand repaired cielings walls. Went back forth picking up suplies. Cleaned hauled garbage. And I even primed all their floors for no charge.I never had complaints. I told them at begining that I had no complaints. But I had a insurance issue with my lic. But never no customer complaints. And they understood in begining. I don't want no complaints. If they called me and clamed a issue. I would of fix it with them. They only complained on not geting the second contract and defected paint but they never had time to meet me. I'm willing to still treat them fair and resolve this. He told us to use open bucket that had half primer downstairs and new bucket upstairs. We had to prep the hallway floors and stairs cause dirt and nails. The empty bucket we left outside by his door were they left garbage from scrap they was taking out of house. We used the open bucket. And the new bucket we used about 25%. Now this was not in contract this is just some of the other things he gave us to do after we wrote 2 contracts. We never opened the white paint and we never painted cielings we only used primer on cielings cause we sanded the cielings and plastered. We put primer to cover sand seal and see better when we texture. When we was at first coat. He wanted us to stop. We did what he said. We wrote on the contract that job is not complete and both partys was satisfied. I told him I would like to finish so if he changed mind to call me. He gave us check I went straight to money tree cashed it. Now I can give money tree permission to check my account with them. I did business with them since 2008. And I don't need to wait for check to clear few days hold and if check bounces they send it to collections to the person that signed it. We did work at his place 4 days straight. He gave us little extra to do we had to work on his naibors time. And no one never even called the police. If you check with police department in that area they'll tell you even if they get a call and no officer shows up and no report. They have it recorded. And he was saying that we painted we did not. We only primed cielings I baught 2 gallons of white primer at $11.00 per gallon at home depot I called him the next morning cause he did text me that night wanting the second contract. He told me to call his dad I did he text me that he'll call me later they kept stalling me I found out 4 or 5 days later check bounced I called his dad he told me cause water was in paint. I told him shirinwilliams guarantees the paint I can take it back. They never replied since. The only thing I ask for is that they should pay the money tree $800 and I pay money tree $800 for the returned check. I do have my pics after we left and befor. And we both have a contract that says the job not completed and customer finishes rest and and we excepted the check. I don't know what else to say. I never had complaints from customers before. I don't want to accuse no one but the last conversation I had with his dad I had to record it. The reason I did that cause I see how they tell me defrent and wright complaint defrent so after this I realy hate to go to court. But I know what I have. If they can split the returned check with me that will solve this matter. Thanks for reading.
