We contacted this company to open a small (18x18x18 inch) portable home safe for my 90 year old mother. The key lock was broken, and we just needed to have it pried open to access the contents, not expecting to ever use it again. I contacted this company and was told they could do it at 5:00 Tuesday, February 4, 2020. I was told it would be $29 for them to come to my mother's house at ***, and it would be $30 to pop the safe open. The service person arrived 1 3/4 hours late, after I had to leave for another meeting, so she was alone when he arrived. He tried the lock and told her it was broken (!) and he would go to his truck and get a crowbar, and that it would cost $250 for the service. She told him no, that was considerably more than we were quoted, so he then said he would do it for $125. He was obviously trying to take advantage of an elderly woman. She told him to forget it, and she paid him the $29 in cash for him showing up (he refused to take a check, and she wasn't about to give him her credit card!). When I contacted the company the following morning, the person I spoke with said of course it would be more than $30 to open it, and that the service person wasn't out of line to ask for what he did. They were not concerned, asked nothing like if there was anything they could do to satisfy this customer, and when I said I planned to contact the Revdex.com, they were totally unconcerned.
