[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me The business has stretched the carpet at a reduced cost and the result is acceptable Regards, [redacted]

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/09/10) */ The [redacted] 1994 Chevrolet [redacted] was brought into our shop on 8-19-2015 with a complaint that since a new battery was installed the check engine light is now on and the engine cranks excessively before starting. Customer stated that the... water pump, coolant hoses, spark plugs and spark plug wires were just changed. Customer stated that the hoses had been installed incorrectly by another automotive repair business and that the wrong hose clamps were used. Diagnosis was performed on the vehicle and it was found that the power train control module had stored a code 36, (High resolution pulse failure in the engines ignition system). Lab scope analysis was performed to verify this. Fuel pressure and volume test that were also performed showed fuel volume was low due to most likely a partially restricted fuel filter. Fuel injector balance test indicated differences in pressure drops on several injectors due to deposits in the injectors. As stated on the signed invoice technicians stated that the vehicle needed: a distributor with cap and rotor, fuel filter needed to be replaced and injectors needed to be cleaned. During this diagnosis it was noticed that the power steering pulley was slightly bent as we noted on the customer invoice. An estimate was then prepared. Customer was called for approval and the repair was then performed and completed. Cooling system was checked after repair to make sure thermostat was opening properly and that the electric radiator cooling fans were switching on by the power train computer and working properly. When the customers came to pick up the car, [redacted] asked to see the bent pulley. He said he didn't remember it being that way. He said he was ready to sell the car due to all the problems they have had with it. After customer drove the car, [redacted] called and was very upset about the bent pulley and stated that the car always ran at exactly 193 degrees and now was running around 200 degrees. We asked them if they could bring the car back and we would see what we could do about the pulley for them and recheck the cooling system. The car was returned to us and pulley was easily pulled back where it was turning true. It was not beaten back in place as customer implies. Cooling system was checked. Thermostat was opening properly. Radiator cooling fans were being turned on by power train control module at 228 degrees and was working properly. 228 degrees is what General Motors has programmed in the computer for fan activation unless air conditioning is activated, then it will turn on to cool air conditioning condenser as needed. When [redacted] came in to pick up the car the second time, he was very upset, very loud, threatening and using profanity. He pointed out that something was hanging down under the car in front of the left rear tire.\. These ended up being his emergency brake cables not the fuel lines (as she stated) in the BACK OF the vehicle. I told him I would be happy to put the car on the drive on lift and put them in place FOR HIM and we did. That night I got a call from a woman that I assume was Mrs. [redacted] Call reception was poor and she was screaming. I couldn't understand much of what she was saying. August 27, 2015 we received an email from [redacted] saying, My next step is the RevDex.com. I am sick to my stomach at the terrible work your shop performs. When we received the complaint from the RevDex.com, it was the first time we were told of the car alleged running rough and missing and running at 260 degrees.

As far as the overpricing, we charge are products at an average amountWe did not put water in and charge for antifreeze, we would never do such a thing
