to your letter dated April 27, in the matter of

complaint regarding her *** * *** indicates that her alternator
needed to be replaced because of the services
which we provided damaged it and
she had to incur and additional cost of $to have it replaced.She
indicated that her settlement request would be $or at the least she
would settle for the cost of our service in the amount of $156.25.***
referred the complainant to our company because she was seeking repairs to this
vehicle, but in order for *** to proceed they advised her to have the
engine steam cleaned due to the enormous amount of oil in her engine
compartment which made it impossible for *** to proceed to diagnose her
auto dilemma, unless the oil was removed by steam cleaning.I am sending
you also a copy of her invoice front and back to indicate that she signed the back
of the check in sheet indicating that her engine light was on even before we
serviced her vehicle. It is our company
policy to walk the vehicle with the customer to make sure that they are aware
of the existing auto damages, etc.In order to
accurately accuse our company of being responsible for her additional cost of a
new alternator, it is only fair that she is absolutely positive that the
existing alternator was in fact damaged by water, and not possibly damaged by
oil, or by the diode which is part in the alternator which also can become
faulty due to the year of the vehicle.
Her engine light being on was surely an indication of pre-existing
problems.Because of
this, our company feels that we will not refund the complaintant.Sincerely,*** ***

The only proof I have is the fact my battery light was NOT on before I let Joes steam clean my engine and DIRECTLY after when I got my car back it WAS on and it clearly states on Joes receipt that the battery light was NOT onAs soon as my mechanic replaced the alternator the battery light went off and has never come back on or ever was on before! So my proof IS the reciept that Joes uploaded
