Joel you are the best contractor out here in Los Angeles. I was looking for a general contractor in Silver Lake for my rental property and I came across Joel & Co. Construction online. Joel meet me and helped me figure out the design and how I can best renovate the property. We ended up upgrading the master and guest bathrooms, paint and some small touch ups. Joel was a true professional!! Because I live in Northern California my main concern was trust and Joel made sure that I was updated every step of the way. We were looking for a general contractor who could do a high end renovation of our kitchen remodel in Holmby Hills. After a diligent search, we selected Joel [redacted] for the job. My father is a retired developer, so I have seen my share of good and bad work in the day (as my dad would point out when he would take me to see the homes he was building). We also found Joel to be very knowledgeable and very much aware what needed to happen 'behind the walls' in order to make the project successful and without any issues. His team applied is amazing and very professional.

We finally found him to be open and honest and his prices are fair. Alex started with a detailed quote and told us it was all inclusive (that was the price and if there were some things discovered while opening up the walls etc it was all in that price (if you have ever gone through a construction, there are always unexpected things that happen so this was a great reassurance (just imagine, would you want to be in a situation where your bathroom floor/wall is ripped open and the contractor says... well we didn't expect to find a problem with your drain/pipes and its going to cost you $$ extra).

As to the job; Joel and his team did a truly amazing job. They covered the floors, stairs and walkway they were going to use during the construction to avoid any damages. I checked in every day on progress and was impressed with the level of quality and detail that was put into the work. His team was friendly, arrived on time, clean, and most important did a great job.
We had to alter some things while doing the project which went very smooth and at no charge.

The team also assisted me with some minor things in the house I was working on all at no charge. They cleaned up after the project and we are left with an amazing kitchen remodel. Could not have done it without Joel and his team and he is definitely my go-to-contractor for anything else in the future and for recommendations to people that are looking for a good and reliable general contractor. Joel was always available before and during the whole project, communicates very well and clear and his team leader Chris is stellar.

Following our great experience with Joel on our bathroom remodel project, we hired Joel again. This time for a larger project, our Kitchen remodel. After showing Joel a ton of reference, we collaborated on the design and layout of our new kitchen. Before we began construction, Joel and his team showed us 3D renderings that helped us understand the scope of the project. We also asked him for multiple versions of his construction estimate as we were working through different budget scenarios. He was fast to deliver options and remained patient with us as we made us our minds.

For this project, we remained in the house. So Joel's team set up tarps to block the dust and construction from the rest of the house. Once underway, we accompanied Joel to several suppliers to choose our tile and countertops. Joel had relationships at several suppliers so when we did not see what we wanted at one, we quickly moved onto another where we found what we liked.

One of the reasons we went with Joel again was the flexibility of his process. All of cabinets are custom made, so we could get exactly what we wanted without compromising, like we experienced with other kitchen remodelers who use name brand products (for more money). Additionally, when Joel delivers a budget, he delivers on that budget. The only time we saw an increase was when we asked for something out of scope, even then he tried to cover our requests. Overall it has been another great experience with Joel & Co. Construction.

From the first day of work we could see the professionalism, Joel & Co. Construction was always on time and working full steam ahead. There was never a time that I showed up to the job site and the crew was not working. I cannot say how many job sites I have gone to and found that the crew was short a few members or guys were sitting down, etc. Joel & Co. Construction made our dream home come to life.
