Joel is a very honest businessman He takes pride in his work I had the opportunity to work with Joel on a new house that needed painted Joel was hired by the other owner, and still came back to finish the painting He has also volunteered to paint/stain more than the previous owner had contracted him for Joel is as honest as the day is long
I was very impressed with Joel at first He responded very quickly with a quote I told him I wanted to wait to paint the house after we had some windows installed and repaired Our home was for sale and he offered to paint the house now, and then come back after the windows were repaired to finish the job His quote was much higher than other quotes, but since he was willing to paint it and come back later I hired him It took a couple months for the windows to get installed, and when we was called to come back he was very resistant and indicated that when or "if" he does come back he cannot commit to any time frame He indicated that the contract does not have a time frame for him to return This then means we could have to wait until next year, or whenever he feels like painting to return I think he knows that we can't leave the windows unpainted all winter and he knows that someone else will have to be hired to do the job When talking with him about finishing the job he got very hostile I would never recommend Joel Wells Painting to anyone
