Review: On 6/**/14, I brought in a leather skirt I'd purchased one day prior asking that a small stain be removed from the polyester lining which is visible through a pattern of cutouts in the leather layer. [redacted] advised me that he would need to send the skirt to his "leather guy", at which time I reasserted that only the polyester lining needed to be cleaned, not the leather itself. I was told that the skirt would be ready for pickup early the following week. I visited the store numerous times inquiring about my skirt and approximately two weeks elapsed before it was returned to me. [redacted] made no apologies for this; he just looked aloof and giggled - not the proper way to address a legitimate customer concern. When I received the skirt, I noticed right away that the entire skirt had been "cleaned" with the leather layer sitting right on top of the brightly colored lining (the layers are easy to separate, which would have been the proper way to clean them) and this process had caused the dye to transfer from the black leather, leaving dark gray stains all over the lining. I showed [redacted] and he told me to have the lining changed. I said no, I owned this skirt for one day, I just want it properly cleaned. He told me that he would clean the lining of the skirt himself but I'd have to leave it with him again until the following week. It has now been a month that he's had my skirt - which he again sent to the "leather guy" despite telling me he would handle it himself - and now he's telling me that the stains are permanent and the leather guy still has the skirt. I have been into the store numerous times and have stressed that I need my skirt back ASAP or I will be pursuing legal action to recoup the cost of the skirt ($303.76) plus the fee I paid him for dry cleaning ($35.00) for a total of $338.76. Every time, he looks aloof and giggles. I went into the store for the final time on 7/* stated that I needed the skirt back no later than today, 7/*. Again I have been disregarded, and [redacted] is liable.Desired Settlement: The cost of the skirt ($303.76) plus dry cleaning fee ($35.00) for a total of $338.76. Receipt available as proof of skirt cost and date of purchase.
