I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10528439, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
I am pleased to inform you that the business responded to my complaint in a very positive way and I have today received my bracelet in the mail. They waved the charge for the work and apologized profusely. Since I am very happy with the outcome, I will be sending them a check for the very satisfactory work. Thank you so much for your helpful intervention in this matter.

Review: I sent a bracelet to Joe's Plating to be replated. I called, was told the bracelet was finished and looked great. Gave a credit card over the phone. (Card never charged). Was told bracelet would be mailed out the next day. It never arrived. I have called repeatedly and only get an answering machine. Occasionally someone answers, but Joe is never available. Often when I call, the phone is answered and immediately hung up. They are screening their calls. I just want my bracelet back and I am willing to pay his price.Desired Settlement: Just want my bracelet back replated.

This is in response to the complaint received. The customers job arrived into our shop on or about Feb. 3rd, 2015. We are a very small business in Santa Barbara with 3 employees. We serve all of the Santa Barbara and most of tri county area, so we have a lot of jobs that come in and out of the shop. Turn around on a job can vary from 1 week to , depending on each job and how many others are being done. The job was finished and ready for shipping. As the customer stated, it did not go out that day. The customers card was not charged as we do not charge until after shipping is done. Our phones are sometimes on an answer machine as the same people who answer the phones are also doing the plating work or handling customers that are in shop. If the phone hangs up, it is a matter of the phone cutting off or the message cutting off. This will sometimes happen when a fax is being sent on that same line and it sometimes happens for no particular reason at all. We do not screen the calls. Unfortunately, the package was not sent before the customer contacted the Revdex.com On Mar. 11. When I received the letter, I called the customer immediately, apologizing for the inconvenience and informed her I would not be charging her anything for the job. It was then mailed an hour later.
