Review: My complaint stems from the poor customer service and damages to my property I received from this company. I received a referral for them from the water company. They showed up on my property to provide a quote for some underground work and while they were there, they spilled a trail of Diesel fuel caused by a missing gas cap from a gas tank sitting on their truck. This gas tank was used for fueling their machinery. The truck left a puddle at the top of my driveway and a stain leading all the way down the street. They told me that they would take care of the clean up even if they didn't get the work they were quoting. After some thought, I called them and stated that I would like to hire and schedule them to begin as soon as possible. After 4-5 calls and weeks of waiting, they told me that they would start the work in one week and scheduled the date with me. They never showed or called on the scheduled date, which I took time off from work to meet them. I called them to see what happened, and another 3 weeks have gone by without a return call. I even asked them to just give me a courtesy call back if they were no longer interested in doing the work. To date, no return call. They held me up and delayed my project by 6 weeks. They stated that they would clean the fuel spill and also do my project. I should have called [redacted] and put in a formal complaint regrading the gallons of fuel spilt on the roadway and on my property. I am requesting that they pay for the refinishing of the blacktop that they damaged, as they volunteered to pay for. I will hire another contractor to do the work.Desired Settlement: Pay for the cost to repair the driveway that was damaged.

My brother and I did go to [redacted] to provide a quote to [redacted] for a water line to be installed. However, I gave [redacted] a verbal quote. There was no written and signed quote or signed contract between [redacted] and [redacted]. Therefore, there was no scheduled start date. [redacted] and I discussed the damage from the spilled gas and we told him that we are certainly responsible for damage to his driveway from the gas spill and that we would repair the damage after the water line is installed, even if by another contractor. There is no sense in repairing the spill damage and have the driveway be dug up to install the water line.
