Review: Proposal signed by both parties, contracted to remove a Black walnut tree for selling wood to local logger. Nov. 29, 2013 tree was cut down with a large portion of long upper limbs were removed that day. Dec 2013 was a early arrival of winter. There was a message of broken equipment and the difficulty of removing the tree in wet weather. We gave them understanding of circumstances. Dec. 06 last message from them a promise to get next week in Dec. Never happened.....weather a problem. The trunk of this tree is still in my yard. I started requesting service to remove and get payment for the wood. Fri 5/2/14 Mon. 5/5/14 Thurs 5/8/14 Left messages with no response. Fri 5/9/14 Call returned with message they would call Sat.5/10/14. promised in the next two weeks removal will be completed. May 29,2014 the tree is still on my property. May 25,2014 last message left ... now on to Revdex.com for sincere request for help. After 3 calls in Dec. 2013 and again starting May 02,2014 another 6 calls Still no resolve.Desired Settlement: If I must make other arrangements for this removal , it should be at Joe's Tree Service expense. My original cost was for removal and sale of the wood from this Black walnut tree has never been resolved.
Review: The contract I signed stated the removal of a Maple tree, Stump and surface roots at front yard and haul away. I still have a stump and surface roots visible and some are still above ground that need to be removed. I've contacted them several times to rectify the problems. They have given me excuses of why they could not finish (grinding blade is broken and waiting on a replacement) I contacted them after they stated when the blade will be replaced but they won't return my call.Desired Settlement: I need to have the job finished. I want the refund that will cost me to have this job completed. I don't have an estimate on what the job cost will be at this time. I need to get my yard cleaned up so I can plant grass seed where the work was done....
