Review: I go to this hair salon about three times a year to get my ends trimmed. I always make sure they understand that I do not want more than inch taken off. I've had no issues in the past, except once without my permission, a stylist layered my hair. I went in for my regular trim and I did not see the usual two ladies that trim my ends. I was hesitant and stressed for at least three minutes that I did not want more than an inch taken off. The woman in charge even showed the stylist how much to trim. There was a mutual agreement. I finally got to look in the mirror and two to three inches of my hair was chopped and very unprofessionally done. I was disgusted, felt ugly and angry that all of my hard work in getting my hair to grow had been cut away. There was nothing she could say and she even had a look on her face like wow she cut a lot of hair off. I walked in with hair to my shoulders and walked out with hair just to my neck. I'm still devastated and hate so much as touching the hair I have left. The cut is choppy, my ends in some areas look worse than before I walked in. The other woman stated she didn't know why she cut so much and that she will do it next time. There will be no next time ever. I have to live with this for another six months to a year as my hair grows slowly. Assuming it will grow back through my distress.Desired Settlement: There was no way I could talk to the stylist and lady in charge as they saw no error. I would like a refund at the very least. Too bad this is not a lawsuit, because the emotional and physical stresses of this is and will beat me up for a while, so payment for suffering might be out of the resolution.

At this time, I have not been contacted by Johanna Hair Salon regarding complaint ID [redacted] Most likely no one will respond, because the business does not have legit employees with the appropriate certifications to work on hair. Is there anything else that can be done? No one else should have to go through what I am still going through, as it takes a real emotional toll to have hair taken away from me I worked so hard to achieve. I cannot style my hair properly, because it is so short and uneven beyond my ability to hide it. I am forced to keep braids in my hair in hopes it will grow faster.
