I am very sorry Ms*** had a bad experience with our firm She did retain my office to represent her son on a State charge of Trafficking in A Controlled Substance We were retained post arraignment and a probable cause hearing was already set in a matter of days Ms*** was
advised every effort would be made to visit her son at the Detention Center but with many other cases already on my schedule it may be the day of Court Ms*** paid the fee in two payments; the last being just before the Labor Day holiday Her sons hearing was the Wednesday following I was retained for the State matter not a Federal Case Our fee would be substantially more for a Federal Case Upon arriving in Court I was advised that U.SMarshals had taken all seven co-defendants into custody and they were going to be charged federally I made a motion to have the State case dismissed which was granted I spoke to Ms*** that day and explained exactly what happened; she never requested a refund and as far as I was concerned having the case dismissed was the extent of what I was paid to do Since that time one of the payments was disputed (paid by credit card) and I authorized a refund to her card Additionally, I believe someone related has also filed a negative review without any understanding of what transpired In responding to that review I indicated I was more than willing to discuss refund but have not heard from anyone until this complaint Our office did field many telephone calls from the family, we investigated the charges, had a meeting with regard to advance lowering of bond with the prosecutor, and appeared on his behalf to secure dismissal of the State charge I believe the one half refund already authorized is fair

[ I am requesting a full refund I requested a refund when I spoke to his secretary since she is the one that returns his phone calls. I have called multiple times and surprisingly "connection is lost" all the cases were dismissed, due to the fact the federal government took over the case, it is not because Mr [redacted] filled anything. Mr [redacted] did not render any services, he never spoke to his client. When the case was handed over Mr [redacted] could not even tell me where my son was sent to or what he was now charged with. If he truly did represent him he could have told me what had happened and where he was. I am requesting a full refund die to the fact absolutely no services were rendered ]
