Company responded via phone as follows: The plan the consumer signed up for was $15 month. The consumer's membership is pending cancellation and takes about 30 days to process. The consumer can have access to the gym till June 6. The consumer is still responsible for the club...
maintenance fee of $30.99 per his agreement and his $15.00 for the month of May since the membership goes through June 6. The consumer did make a payment for $15 on March 22 and another payment April 30th . There are also two charges showing for $11.93 each on April 26th and May 3rd. We will speak with the operations mangers, CJ, in regards to getting the refund for the two charges of $11.93. CJ will be reaching out to the consumer as well.
Consumer responded via phone:The consumer tried canceling the membership in April and the manager was never around. The consumer was finally able to get the membership canceled. The consumer never got a copy of the contract. Why should they be penalized for the club maintenance fee when the facility was barely used. The company stalled on getting the membership canceled to try and get the extra costs.
