On numerous occasions myself and my insurance company have tried to resolve a billing issue dating back to October of 2012. The hospital is still billing me for services rendered on a date that I was not even in the hospital. They are also billing me at 20% of the total bill rather than the $250 copay that my insurance specifies for an emergency room visit. The hospital continues to blame my insurance company for the errors, rather than conducting an investigation of the matter on their end and resolving this issue. There is a very simple solution to this problem: 1) rectify the facility charge date that appears on my bill to reflect the correct date that I was in the emergency room, rather than showing a range of dates that make it look like a was in the hospital for multiple days. 2) Bill me for $250, which is my copay for an emergency room visit.
