I am responding to complaint filed [redacted] and [redacted]...
[redacted], John Collier Logging had a written contract for all marked trees for the amount of $2500.00. While on the job the owners ([redacted]) decided that some of the trees that were marked and paid for they did not want removed. John Collier and Mr. [redacted] were told several times by the owners that they were in financial trouble and needed to sell the trees, Mr. Collier and Mr. [redacted] told the owners that if the trees cut better than they were expecting they would give them some more money so John Collier Logging paid another $500.00 to the [redacted]. John Collier Logging has received several phone calls demanding more money immediately and being threatening with lawsuit by the [redacted] John collier logging did all they promised to do and really feel that the [redacted] sold the trees because of financial burden they were in and didn't realize that cutting trees down does have clean up required afterwards. I am enclosing a copy of contract and checks cashed by [redacted].
