Review: Before presenting a contract, construction company took a binder. Contract did not appear. Gave 5 G; was in bad state of mind after death of mother. The contracts that came through were not specific. The contractor put footings--without permits since he told me (a New Jerseyan) that this wasn't needed- in illegal spot. He billed me after I decided to terminate the contract at higher amounts than previously agreed to. Told me that he was sending a check for refund-2300 dollars--which I have yet to see. Today I told him that I had a man to redo footings and that they were in wrong spot. Now he demands to see contract and the permits (which he didn't get)... Pics will show footings blocking electric meter-charged me 600 dollars for the wrong thing. Told me I will get nothing back. I am a ** year old retired former school teacher. This is a significant amount of money to me.Desired Settlement: Want return of my money--2300--and refund for one footing done incorrectly, 300. Total 3600.

Review: [redacted] built a patio for me. He than sealed it per our original agreement that he charged me $500 extra for. When the sealer was applied it was put down incorrectly. It looks like glue was put down on the pavers. This is a $11,000 patio that is destroyed.

He came to the house 3 months latter after 10 phone calls. He does not take a phone calls! Only text messages.He said the product was faulty and would fimd a way to fix it.After numerous phone calls and text messages. NO response.

Additonally he did the siding. The exterior outlets do not work since he took them off and put them back. He said he would fix it. Never did!

We are very disappointed with [redacted]. He is a neighbor. We are sorry we gave him the job.Desired Settlement: For john to take the sealer off and put id down correctly.

It is unfortunate that the Revdex.com site was able to get into the hands of this terrible, unstable customer. This claim is completely untrue . This job was completeled perfectly and double checked by another contractor due to the amount of complaints, harrassment and phone calls made by these crazy people. I even went back to the job again today after reading this negative post and confirmed the job was done to perfection.

As they wish they never hired us, we wish we never did the job. I knew from the moment I met these people , they were going to be a problem. They were rude, obnixious and mean to my workers. We went completely out of our way for this customer .

My company has been operating for 20 years with a clean record with the Revdex.com. As background information : Customer still has outstanding balance and it seems as though they are attempting not to pay and use this as their outlet. We will be attempting to collect this debt via suit. John Cusumano Contruction has a contract that was signed at the completion of the job that states fully satisified with all work completed.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[redacted] is 100% lying! He refused to take a call. His Phone # is blocked when he called me 1 time and hung up. If he is not hiding from people why does he have his cell phone on block. You don't do that in sales.The job looks TERRIBLE. He said so himself when he came to the house. Now he is calling names. How unproffesional . I will not stoop to that level! He said the product he put down was faulty. And as far as being mean to anybody. That is a outright lie.

Let me know if I can send you pictures. I will file a complaint with Nassau county consumer affairs and Summons in county court.

Review: My roof was fixed on August 2012, on December 2013, it begins to leak again, I tried to contact him since that time, but it wasn't possible, finally on April he sent some body to fix the roof, but it is still leaking, I tried to contact by phone without success, so I sent a letter with photograph of the roof, but it was returned. I am unable to continue calling or sending letters I would like that you help me to contact him so I can solve the leaking problem.Sincerely[redacted]Desired Settlement: I just want my roof properly repaired.

This complaint is not valid and shoud be removed -

Customer needed a new roofing system but chose to only repair the roof in certain areas to control the leaking at the time due to the expense of a new roof - as per the contract. In no way can we or would we guarantee the roof will not leak a year later. This is common sense and was explained to the customer - they need a new roof . This is the only thing that will stop the leaks in full - the water is coming in from numerous areas - other than the ones that were repaired at this point.

They need to call in another contractor to install a new roof and tell them what they done want to hear.
