The roof has not been completed as detailed in the contract.
On 10/26/18, the original contact was signed by the owner of the property. On November 3, 2018, that contact was edited and modified at the request of the owner to match insurance adjuster's claim. A down payment of $1950 was then made on 11/5/18 via Discover card. On November 9 2018, the new edited contact was finalized and signed by the owner. On 11/14/18, the roofers showed up late in the afternoon to begin the contracted work. As part of the new edited contract, the owners had requested ice and water shield (peel and stick) be applied to the entire roof. The roofers had completed six bundles of shingles when it was noted by the owners that the peel and stick had not been applied as requested. The owner contacted the project manager, Paul ***, whom came over right away. He apologized and stated that he would have the team start over. On 11/15/18, the team arrived at approximately 6am to begin. Part of the contract included removing and replacing ply that had been damaged by Hurricane Michael as well as repairing 3 damaged roof trusses. The team left on 11/15/18 around dusk and have not returned. The owners completed a walk around inspection of the work completed thus far and noticed that the ply had not been replaced but shingled over. The owners once again contacted Mr. whom responded to the home on 11/16/18. He stated that there was a problem with the team that was assigned to this home and they wouldn't be returning. There would be another team coming into town from Alabama and would come to the home on 11/19/18 to redo the covered damaged ply as well as complete the ridge vents/caps that had not yet been completed. It is now 11/26/18 and the owners have not heard from the company at all. The roof is still not completed. We are missing ridge vents and ridge caps. The damaged ply decking has not been replaced according to the insurance claim nor according to the contract.
We are so fed up with this company. An explanation of the delay would have been nice however, we didn't even get that. We asked another company to come in a fix what hasn't been completed and they have refused due to not being able to guarantee the work already done by Andress Construction. We would like the company to find someone to complete their work they've failed to complete or give us our deposit back and we will start the process all over again.

The owner of the company spoke to my husband a short time ago and the issue has been resolved to our satisfaction. We are sorry to have had to make this complaint in order to have this issue resolved however, it appears that this wasn't the first complaint the owner had received concerning Mr. We would like to close our complaint.

This client was a delight to work with. I felt very confident the skylight installation would be a bit tedious during the summer due to pop up showers. The technician responsible for removing and replacing these components did a terrific job drying in the project daily. The siding repairs did not meet my expectations but however there were corrective action performed to ensure the recovery of this portion of repairs. The roof replacement and copper work were fabulous, I"ve performed many roofs but this one turned out great!!

I had a really bad leak in the interior ceiling above my living room. I contacted John David Andres Construction for help. They returned my call within 30 minutes to schedule the appointment. I was fully informed of the problems with my roof, and immediately then following, the repairs were completed. I had a great experience with this company!
