My main complaint with the Norden Group and with Allegis is two-fold
The Norden Group and Allegis engaged in the prohibited conduct described in the FINRA Prohibited Conduct page (FINRA Website), #1, by recommending to me a security which was unsuitable for meFirstly, in a general sense, they did not assess my risk profile, not did they make attempts to inform themselves of what my risk tolerance was They did not ask questions about what a loss would mean, or whether I was comfortable with various levels of riskAs my financial advisor, this should have been Garen’s primary goal, to assess my risk tolerance and make recommendations accordingly But he did not
Secondly, and more importantly, they engaged in the prohibited conduct #4, by failing to disclose material facts of an investment, including the risk of investing in the credit spread account They had never explained or made clear the risk that this specific option credit spread trading strategy entailed They ne
