Contrary to other reviews on this site, I couldnât have asked for a better experience. My moving time was scheduled between 9 am and 10 am and the moving team arrived as expected. My belongings were loaded up and the team was ready to go within 15 minutes of pulling up. The team was extremely professional, courteous and friendly. My furniture, which included a tempurpedic bed, mechanical platform, and a bedroom and living room set including a couch, was handled with complete care even while they carried the furniture up 3 flights of winding stairs. Including driving time, the entire job was finished in less than 90 minutes for a one bedroom.
There are several individuals showing pictures of damaged furniture however when I scheduled my move, I did ask if the movers would need me to have my furniture wrapped and covered or if it was a service they did. She told me I could do it myself or I could have them do it but I needed to let her know so that she could include that in the order. I would advise anyone who is getting their furniture moved by any moving company to wrap their own furniture that way you can rest assured that you have protected your furniture. At the end of the day, you need to protect your investments. When the team arrived they were already prepared to wrap and cover my furniture but I had already did it so that also saved me time and money.

Hollie is very nice and great at taking all of the information about your move, and staying in contact with reminders to make sure they can work with your schedule. Elijah is also nice, and very professional. I had to reschedule this second move a few times due to delays in getting the keys to my new house, but they were understanding and able to reschedule with no problems. The movers, Marvin and Santo, were wonderful. They were very hardworking, professional, friendly, and considerate of our property. The move was completed quickly, yet carefully. I am greatly satisfied, and I highly recommend John Ferguson Moving & Storage.

When I called for a quote, it seemed that all was well with the plan. 3 guys to move my 2 bedrooms, living room, and the 8X8 rubber maid storage shed. I asked for themto be there at 11am in order to ensure we had enough time at the closing of the new house. I was told a couple of days before via email that because of an illness with one of the guys, they would be there between 12 and 1pm. I was surprised when the 3 guys that show up at 1025am. No one called me to inform me of this so we were caught off guard. The 3 started fast and slowed down in the middle of the move; perhaps they were tired. At one point they told me the storage shed would not fit (I had been specific when I contracted the move weeks before moving day). I told them I had spoken to [redacted] weeks ago and that I told him the dimensions. They found a way to fit it in however it would cost me another round trip. [redacted] was the less expensive however it did cost me some momentary grief that perhaps could have been avoided. It seems all furniture and boxes arrived without any issues. The 3 man team were polite. Thank you.
