John Fitsioris (K-12, College, and Adult Tutor)

John worked with our son this year, a 9th grader for honors geometry and was a huge help.
Our son was hesitant at first but after the first visit said John helped clear up a number of things.
We will be using him over the summer and next year as well.

Mr. Fitsioris has been our daughter's tutor for several months. Before he started with her, she was failing all her middle school classes and was ridiculously behind in her work. She seemed to lack motivation and appeared completely "frozen" with regard to school work. After four months of working with him, she is caught up, a solid "B" student, and less anxious about her studies. He understands the barriers students sometimes have for learning and helps them overcome them. He establishes a positive and low-key relationship with a student, encouraging them, but also reducing their anxieties. He communicates progress with the parents on a daily basis. We have worked with tutors before, but he is by far the most professional and effective.

John is a very reliable and effective tutor. He relates well to my daughter and is caring and respectful. He takes interest in her as a person as well as her academic development.

Mr. Fitsioris was assigned to my daughter for math tutoring. Her precious tutor was not working out, but Mr. Fitsioris was able to understand my daughter's learning style. Having an IEP for math this is her most difficult subject. With his help, she scored an "A" in her last 2 quarters! She will also be meeting with him over the summer for additional instruction. While math just isn't her thing she does not mind one bit meeting with Mr. F! Job well done and highly recommended!

John was an excellent tutor and raised both of my kids grades in their math classes. I would recommend him to anyone.
