Review: I brought in my working Echo 650 Back pack blower in for a spring simple tune-up for the up coming season. I paid their $35 dollar estimation fee. They called my a few days later telling me it was going to be about $175.00 to repair the unit. I told them that was too expensive and I would pick it up. They then told me its disassembled and in a box. I asked them when will it be ready for me to pick up. He said now if you don't want the repair we give it back to you disassembled.

This is an extremely unreasonable practice especially since it was running when I brougt it in to brgin with.

I felt I was being extremely taken advantage of by them holding my unit for ransom and if I didn't pay whatever charge they think they can get they would return it in pieces in a box.

This is not the way to treat people.

After some back and forth phone conversation with Joe (some kind of authority there). He told me he would do me a "favor" and reassemble it for me. I went back to get my blower. Some screws and bolts missing, a hose hanging that had to connect somewhere and now a motor mount broken and of course what once used to start and run a little rough now has no chance of starting no matter what I try.

I trusted my blower to them for a spring tune it up and I got taken advantage of.Desired Settlement: My unit used to start a run when I brought it in. I know that because a week or so before I brought it in to them to get the pull cord mechanisms fixed. They charged me for that and I used it twice before I took it back just to tune it up.

I would like them to re-look at this unit and rerun it to be like I brought it in.
