[email protected] ###-###-#### Ext Dear Miriam Carmona, We received a letter from you dated 3/30/in regards to Susan Bennett ID # Please find below an explanation of the events that took place MsBennett was approved through Southern California Edison Energy Management Assistance Program for Weatherization and Relamping (light bulbs)3/28/Our installer Roy arrived at the home to conduct the weatherization and explained the processThe customer has all electric appliances in the homeTherefore, she would qualify for both infiltration measures (outlet gaskets, weather-stripping) door replacement if existing doors were damages and warped and glass replacementShe would also qualify for water measures (water heater blanket, aerators)However, she refused to have the glass replaced she wants the whole window to be replaced, and the water heater does not qualify due to it not being feasibleAlso, the doors were in good condition, and just needed weather-strippingMsBennett also called Southern California Edison and the customer service rep as well as supervisor noted the following: 3/CST CAME ON LINE REQ S/W SUPSHE WAS UPSET OVER ESA PROGRAM AS SHE DID NOT RECEIVE CERTAIN MEASURES LIKE REFRIGERATOR AND NEW WINDOWCST UNDSTANDS HER REFRIGERATOR DID NOT MET MIN AGE REQUIREMENTS FOR REPLACEMENTCST WAS UNDER IMPRESSION THAT SHE MAY GET NEW WINDOWS AND IS UPSET THAT SHE DID NOT RECEIVE MEASURES, AS WE DO WEATHER STRIPPING OR COCKING/SEALING FOR WXTRANSFERED TO SUP3/SUP CALL TAKEN- S/w Susan, customer is upset with program results, customer approved for Weatherization Installation and - Relamping Installation, Per customer JHC came out to her home and started to add caulking around the windows, customer under the impression her windows will be replaced; I tried to explained to the customer sce will make repairs or improvements that will keep her home warmer in the winder and cooler in the summer, unfortunately program does not replace all windows in the home, also I tried to explained to her regarding refrigerator requirements, her refrig a 2004, did not meet program guidelines, customer upset will results and whole program processPer customer states she will contact CPUC and esa contractors to submit her complaint, customer requested program address to mail in her complaint letter as wellAddress given ( P.O BOX ROSEMEAD, CA 91700-9801)As you can see above the customer is upset because she did not qualify for some of the measure she wantedWe hope this letter is of assistance to you in relaying to customer that it is not under John Harrison Contracting, Inccontrol of what measures she might or might not receive we are contractors for Southern California Edison and we go by the guidelines of the programPlease contact me if you have any questions You can reach me via email at [email protected] or telephone ###-###-#### Thank you, Monica Marroquin Chief Operating Officer John Harrison Contracting, Inc
