This is the same response we have received since MarchWe are stuck with the response since we have already paid for the work that is not being done in a timely matterIts not our fault that the builder has limited resources and failed to contact other contractors prior to the last two weeksWould appreciate if the company would return phone calls in a professional timely manner Regards,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. John Henry has received a list from me with all the defects and low quality issues found during a professional home inspection. John Henry's claim that the the issues have been addressed is not accurateTo my recollection, I refused to sign for some of the items due to a quality issueI was just told by MrJohn *** that the floor bulges and depressions on all over the second level are within industry standards. Other items where never addressed or poorly addressedThe most serious being trusses on the roof that were cut (near vent boxes) and require a Professional Engineer's signature to vouch for it's safetyI all the visits that John Henry personnel did to my home, it was said that they did not have a ladder to go to the roof or did not have the right person to do thatIt's a safety issue that could also generate a large financial impact when I attempt to sell my home In addition to that, John Henry's personnel caused damages to the paint in the house during their attempts repairs Thanks, *** ***

We are sorry to hear that our customer is not satisfied and has felt the need to file a complaint with youWe work very hard to build quality homes and to honor our warranty responsibilities Our records indicate that we have completed the warranty work for this homeUnfortunately, there are
times when a customer disagrees with certain repairs, or refuses to acknowledge their completionWhile, we have great respect for the Revdex.com, this is not the proper forum to resolve those concerns The warranty standards for the home are specified to be in accordance with our Home Owner's Manual and the Industry Standards of the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati (HBA)The HBA does have a procedure to review customer concerns, if they feel an item is not in compliance with the applicable standard If our customer feels that the home is not within standards, please have them reach out to the HBA and follow the appropriate procedure. Thanks

The builder has been on-site on two occasions since I first notified them of these issues three months agoAlthough they indicated that some of these issues will be addressed, they have made no contact with me to schedule additional appointments to have the items fixed, despite my continued calls to themNor have they ever gone through each item with me to discuss if or when it would be resolvedThe only time this builder has made any contact with me in the last 30+ days, is when I've lodge official complaints with the Warranty provider and the Revdex.com - the resulting contact has been limited to a placating phone call, with no follow up communication or actionI am tired of waitingI want action

We are aware of the concerns and are doing our best to timely address themOur landscapers are back logged from the wet springWe have been trying to add additional landscapers to help with the backlog...most landscapers are in the in same situationWe apologize for the delay and assure you we
are doing our best to address this as quickly as possible. We have been in contact with our customer regarding the backlog

It is unfortunate that our customer feels this way and we disagree with the assertions. We would like to resolve any open item that is covered by the Warranty. We suggest that he reach out to the Home Builders Assocation of Greater Cincinnati and follow the process for them to review his complaints and determine if they are in compliance with the Industry Standards

As previously noted we are in communication with the customer. We inspected the issues and immediately responded to the customer. We did offer to redo vent flashing as was suggested by one of the roofers the customer hired. This offer was rejected by the customer on 12/5/2017.  We did advise the customer on December 4, 2017 that we would be working with our vendors and an outside consultant on the remaining issues. We did inform them that this would most likely not be addressed until January. Customer confirmed their understanding an agreement of this on December 5, 2017.

Customer stated business contacted her and did do the requested repairs on or around 10/6. This resolves her complaint.

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response.  If you wish, you may update it before sending it.  If you and the business have reached an agreement and compliance is set for a future date, we trust the business will comply.  Please contact us after that time if the matter is not resolved as agreed and we will review the complaint and proceed accordingly.]

The builder has inspected the issues and has indicated that they may do 'something' for the third time. I have not been advised of what the builder plans to address, how they plan to address it or when that might happen. I will not consider the matter resolved until action has been taken to address the issues reported.

We are disappointed to see this complaint. We spoke with this customer last week for 25 minutes and reviewed each concern. While some items may not be warranted, we did commit to have someone meet on-site and review the issues and detail what was covered and not covered and provide a time table for...

completion. As communicated to the customer, we will meet on-site and review the issues and get them resolved
