I had called and cancelled with State Farm corporate my Car insurance. I was leasing a car but returned it on February 15th, 2020. I then received a call from ***, " What gives? How come you took the car off the policy'" I said, "The car was leased and we no longer have a car." He then said, " You're not going to have a car at all? How about in the next few weeks'" I said, "No." He said, "Thats too bad!" then I said, "I only can use my neighbors van and we don't live on the same property so I don't need the insurance anymore." He said, "Well thats not 100% true we can work around that. Lets just put the van on." I said "No! I would need to speak to my neighbor. Just want to confirm now I only have the renters insurance and corporate said only 10.83 will come out of my account." He said, " Yes, only 10.83 for the renters Insurance would come out. " I asked, " Can I get quotes for insured with no vehicle'" He said, "You can't get it but I will call back with your sons quote." Then today 198.14 came out of my account and when I called State Farm Corporate they said I was never canceled when *** confirmed I was and that only 10.83 would come out. Today he tried to state that I was never cancelled and then he said, "You told me to wait to put the van on so its your fault because I tried calling you and you didn't answer so thats why you were charged. In 48 hours we can give you the decision if you will be refunded but thats not a for sure thing." I told him, "I need the money in my account now why would I still be charged when it was confirmed I was cancelled'" He then still blamed me for the incident. This business is unprofessional and trying to pull a scam so that they don't lose money or have cancellations on their record. There was no reason to receive a call from the agent when the account was already cancelled and it seems reversed it so that he could still get the payment. The business owner was not only unsympathetic, but is stealing from clients.

Refund I desire a full refund of the 198.14 and for this business to be flagged so that future clients will not have to received the treatment I received. I also want to make sure no other people are scammed as my family was in this process. Insurance is meant to protect people from fraud and this business is a fraud.
