This complaint pertains to the company run out of the Get Well Center is known as 'A-Z Weight Loss Centers- Beauty by [redacted]'. Purchased two lipo-laser sessions in a [redacted] package offered by Dr. [redacted]. Full deal description and fine print details can be found at [redacted]. During my initial consultation, Dr. [redacted] ensured me that I was a good candidate for the procedure and that I'd likely see results right after our first session. He treated my upper arms twice on two different dates, March 5th and 8th of 2012. He takes measurements before and after and his data showed no change whatsoever, even after the second procedure. After the second session, he me that this was very unusual and that I just didn't have enough fat on my arms to make a difference. I contacted his office via email and phone messages. When I finally got a call back, Dr. [redacted] asserted that he couldn't issue me a refund for the following five reasons: they have a $60,000 machine and his investment is just too big to offer refunds, the [redacted] package was offered simply as an introductory trial and clearly states that the procedure won't work for everyone (it does not), his patient paperwork states that results aren't guaranteed (it does), he has to make money, the procedure is elective and I shouldn't empty my bank account on these types of procedures. While I understand that there was not a guarantee on the service outcome, I would not have elected to proceed after the initial consultation if he hadn't told me I was a great candidate and could expect significant results. Further, the offer I purchased was not expressed as an introductory or trial offer. When I attempted to contact the company to remedy, the matter was not handled professionally and remains unresolved.
