I am a travel nurse from [redacted] who came to ** during the summer monthsI had coats sent to me and decided to have two of them cleanedI found Winston Cleaners by GPS locationWhen I took my coats in I was given one ticket with a total of $The coats were itemized on the ticket: one for $and the other for $I went to the cleaners and asked for the $coat (the pink one) and stated I would pick up the other coat (the grey one) laterReply:She dropped her pink and gray coats on 9/21/2017.The ticket was issued as OVER COAT ($AND $20) $35.00.This should be shown same as her ticketThe computer machine that we have for business doesn't allow to categorize same items differently. For example, if someone brought three overcoats, it will say OVERCOAT with the total price next to it.The only reason why I put each price right next to over coat is because sometimes customers ask us what each price is so this is the best way to prevent any issues for receiving same type of item. She never mentioned that she wanted to pick up items separately at the time when she dropped these off bc we would issue two separate tickets under same customer's name so one ticket should be stated as over coat $and overcoat in DIFFERENT INVOICESWe have one customer who prefers that way all the time, so we've done this for our customers before. Both persons there, whom I am assuming are the owners, refused to let me pay for one coat citing "because they are on the same ticket" as their reasonI explained that because the coats were itemized on the ticket with two separate prices, I should be able to get one now and the other laterThey refusedI tried to reason with them stating, "If I buy fifty items from a grocery store and I had to return one, it would not make sense that I would have to return all fifty because fifty items are on the ticket." At that point, they began to act as if they did not understand English and still refused to let me get my pink coat now and the grey one later.Reply:We never give items separately that are on the single ticket unless we didn't properly clean the items. For instance, if the customer brought items and found out items don't look clean, then we give a little hand written redo slip for customers to bring that for next pitime for those two items. The customer who filed a claim stopped by next day saying her coworker said our price is overpriced and requested to have items backThe items were already sent out to the factory who takes care of our cleanings. We are the pistoreWe can't ask our factory people to sort out two items the day after while we receive numerous items every day (this is only possible if we didn't send these out or we call them before they start sorting things out to clean). She left without saying anything and came back next time saying she wants to pick up items separately. We declined her request because the invoice for two items is the sameIn this case, we can't.Like if we did this, what if other customer came and say he wants to pick up items and pick up items later? Especially if all of them were under the same category? There is a low chance for us to be willing to do this kind of favor unless we knew customers very well or have been doing business for a long time in order to avoid problems for the futureAlso, as she stated above, and also told the owner of Winston Cleaners in [redacted] ** saying we speak our own language in front of her saying we are rude and act like we don't speak English.First of all, I can clearly speak English and that's why I take care of all the stuff that require special attentions and explanationsThe other person can't speak English very well so I am usually here to explain and handle all the issuesWE NEED TO CLEARLY DELIVER OUR EXPLANATIONS TO OUR CUSTOMERS.Earlier in the morning, when she came by, I only explained to the other person saying "she came here to pick up grey and pink coat separately." in monotone in my language because the other person and I communicate in our own language all the time. She was offended and told the person who she was speaking on the phone saying we are rude.I told her we speak our own language all the time and she heard me saying "PINK" in English because pink is pronounced the same in our language. This should not be her reason saying WE ACT LIKE WE DON'T SPEAK ENGLISH because I SPOKE ENGLISH WITH HER THE WHOLE TIME AND THE PERSON WHO WAS SPEAKING ON THE PHONE while the other person who stays with me speaks short English.Let me know if you need further explanations on this issue. If she wasn't able to pick up two coats at the same time, she should've let us know before we issue her tickets or just called us after if she couldn't make a trip. Also, her reasoning "I tried to reason with them stating, "If I buy fifty items from a grocery store and I had to return one, it would not make sense that I would have to return all fifty because fifty items are on the ticket." doesn't apply to this situation because the same items are separately scanned on the receipt when you shop at grocery storeOn the other hand, our ticket says "OVER COAT (ONE $AND ONE $20) with price of $in one line

I am a travel nurse from [redacted] who came to ** during the summer months. I had coats sent to me and decided to have two of them cleaned. I found Winston Cleaners by GPS location. When I took my coats in I was given one ticket with a total of $35. The coats were itemized on the ticket: one for...

I went to the cleaners and asked for the $15 coat (the pink one) and stated I would pick up the other coat (the grey one) later. Reply:She dropped her pink and gray coats on 9/21/2017.The ticket was issued as 2 OVER COAT ($15 AND $20) $35.00.This should be shown same as her ticket. The computer machine that we have for business doesn't allow to categorize same items differently. For example, if someone brought three overcoats, it will say 3 OVERCOAT with the total price next to it.The only reason why I put each price right next to 2 over coat is because sometimes customers ask us what each price is so this is the best way to prevent any issues for receiving same type of item. She never mentioned that she wanted to pick up items separately at the time when she dropped these off bc we would issue two separate tickets under same customer's name so one ticket should be stated as 1 over coat $15.00 and 1 overcoat 20.00 in DIFFERENT INVOICES.
