I was referred by my dentist for a hole/crypt/crater with drainage and bleeding on my right tonsil area I was told he would do an oral exam When he entered the room he was polite and shook my hand He did not put on gloves but just asked me to open my mouth and shined the light inside I thought this was strange since my problem area isn't visible w/o pushing in on the inside of my cheek He then said"Your tonsils are fine they don'tRed removed They are actually very small which happens as you get older You are ok and nothing needs done." I explained to him why I was there, which was wasn't for consult to have my tonsils removed He seemed annoyed and finally put gloves on, looked, couldn't see the area so I had to help him out I was then quickly dismissed again, told it is and simply an area where tonsil stones areI was told no follow up and out he went I was a little in shock I am a nurse and familiar with tonsil stones and crypts in tonsils, etcbut also I know that drainage and bleeding from a sore in the mouth for several months is not normal I was rushed to the front desk girl who promptly wanted my $got the good doctor's minutes of time I expressed my concerns and unanswered questions about the abdrainage She quickly dismissed me stating that these things can take months or more to heal...and wanted my money I feel like she should have had the nurse or doctor come back and explain, answer my questions I inquired why my insurance wasn't being billed and which would be billed She said if they pay we reimburse what you are not responsible for I thought this was different than other providers I had gone to Anyway, I was glad they didn't find anything of concern but at the same time I didn't feel he did a thorough job checking or that he was clear about why I was there I felt as unsure when I left as I did when I went in I might as well have set that $on fire I would never recommend this provider

My son had teeth extraction in MarchIn spite having dental insurances, we were asked to pay their fee before the surgerySurgery went well and I really think Dr***r is qualified to do his jobHowever, his billing stuff is very unprofessionalBoth insurances paid bills in April and I called to get my credit back in May and JuneIn May they said they didn't process itIn early June they said they would send it the following weekI called again and againI always get the same answer - that it would be done the following weekmonths after surgery they continue to provide the same answer
