Review: Misrepresented the condition of the homeDesired Settlement: I am seeking financial assistance from [redacted] or from John L. Scott Realtor agency. I purchased a home and some of the repairs [redacted] said would just take a tooth brush to get them running however, I had to call a plumber, builder, electrician to get the home in live able condition.

[redacted] did in fact buy a HUD repossessed home that was not in good condition. Mrs. [redacted] did in fact have an inspection of the property that she and her relative, I believe it may have been her father, attended. They were made aware of several items that needed attention. They according to Mrs. [redacted] were not worried about the items as her father said no big deal, and proceed with the sale after having an inspection and receiving a written report. Anyone in the Real Estate business knows that HUD homes are As Is sales, they never, nor do the Real Estate companies, do repairs as part of the transaction. It has been over a year since closing, maybe two years, and for whatever reason Mrs. [redacted] seems to think she is owed something for a house she has lived in and never fixed. As any homeowner knows part of ownership is doing the necessary maintenance items in order to not have big problems down the road. She was most certainly aware of all that needed to be done after closing and must not have done anything.This is the second time in 4 months we have had to reply to a complaint through your organization.
